I drive literally 30 miles to get this sushi. There are approximately 9-10 places where I can get sushi near me and they don’t even compare. It may be a mom and pop place but I enjoy that even more. It is downtown Dixon so the place has some history.

An excellent dining experience in Dixon Sushi, Korean and Japanese delights. Very friendly service, large portions and reasonable prices. Enjoyed dinner service with my amazing sister and her family. I went with Bento box, sis and daughter had delicious sushi that I tried, and brother-in-law had bulgogi. Appetizer was garlic edamame. Everyone was very pleased, food was delicious! Highly recommended! I hope you have a similar or better experience as us.

First time at this place. It’s definitely a hole in the wall in a good way. From the outside it looks like a tiny shop but once you enter there is plenty of space and friendly staff. We started off with the house salad and stuffed jalapeños which were delicious and appetizing. Then we ordered the Lion King roll and Lucky 7 roll with a Large Kirin Beer. The lion king is 10/10. The lucky 7 is not what I usually expect with the lucky 7s that I have tried but was still okay. Definitely would stop by if in the area.

The food was cooked/rolled to our liking. We requested no rice but to sub in cucumber. They made the accommodations and we were all very grateful. The servers were nice and pleasant and most importantly responsive. If we are ever in Dixon again I am sure we will return!!!

We took a friend to dinner here at 5pm it was not crowded and so we had a choice seats, we didn’t get menus or a waitress for about 39 minutes. We gave an order for appetizers, they 25 minutes later. The place in my opinion was not very clean. For prices they charge I would have expected a little bit cleaner and/ a few plants or decor. The waitress didn’t really welcoming. We asked about the menu items. I will not return to frying pan in Dixon, even though the first time I had there food, I thought Wow! This sushi is out of this world. Not so sure anymore. I didn’t enjoy the quality of my super California roll. And there are better places to go for sushi, that has a much better abeonce customer

We always get take out from here an the sushi always tastes fresh an made pretty good. The prices are $$-$$$ depending what you order compared to some other places. Wish they made the store a little nicer though we might eat in instead of always getting togo.
