Absolutely fantastic experience dining here as a stop on a long ride home. We drove past and thought it looked like a nice local tavern with a seaside vibe. The staff and locals were wonderful super welcoming and friendly, the food was absolutely fantastic and the Jerk chicken wrap in particular was a real highlight. We will definitely be back on our next road trip.

I have lived 2 blocks away for the last 15 years. Well before the bar opened and it was just a liqour store i only go there a few times a year but recently stopped going there because staff doesn’t like to honor the bogo happy hour deal if they don’t know you or assume you are drunk. This ends up in you being double charged. Staff acknowledges the deal AFTER you bring it to there attention with an attitude. 4th time in a row this has happened. I only went back this time because a good friend wanted a drink while hanging out and I was out. Never again.

Way over rated. Had a burger and fries as a test. Rest of the menu was a yawner. Asked for Stella, they did not carry that. What? Burger was cooked med rare, perfectly, except meat had little flavor. Bun was soggy. Side of fries deep fried nicely, but tasted a bit like fish. Using same oil as seafood? Changed lately?

The drinks are good and food is too. They always have a good selection of drinks and specials. This place is usually busy because of that bit theres plenty seating. The decor is pretty neat and this spot is a great tribute to those who work boating on the cheseapeake.

This place is great! The food is ALWAYS delicious, the bartenders are some of the best I’ve ever had, the specials are awesome, and it is attached to a liquor store. The place just opened back up because it was closed from day 1 through Covid, and I couldn’t be happier. Max capacity is down, so it can’t get as packed as it used too, but if I want to go somewhere for good food, cold beer, and excellent staff…it’s here at Waterman’s. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!

I was extremely dissatisfied with the service. I understand it was busy but the bartender/server walked by me several times and didn’t say a word to me. She finally acknowledged me when I didn’t take my eyes of her and she finally responded and all I wanted to start was a beer and a menu and apparently that was asking too much for her. I waited another five minutes for her to get me a menu while other people were coming in after me and she was going to them right away and giving them service. Finally another 5 minutes had past and she still hadn’t come to me to get my order so I just said how much is the beer so I could pay it and leave. Basically she was telling me because I was just one person and not a group of people my business wasn’t important to her so with that being said why should I ever come back if my business is important to the restaurant?

We recently moved to Edgewater, and Waterman’s has helped make Edgewater feel like our home. The staff is great. When it’s a slower day I feel like I’m hanging out with them, when it’s a busy day, they’re working hard to make sure everyone is happy. The food is incredible (the beach burrito is incredible) and they have a great selection of beers! And the prices are great and make it easy to go there often! Thank you Waterman’s for being a great place.
