I just want to start this off by saying everyone should read recent reviews since they are under new management.

We are vacationers so I can’t comment on the previous ownership of this restaurant but I’m happy to share our positive experience! We just had a wonderful meal, food was great & service was equally as great! We had multiple pizzas (one was gluten free), garlic knots and wings, all were delicious. Our waiter was so nice & patient with us – there were 11 of us – & gave great recommendations. One of the kids forgot his mask & they were happy to give him one at the door for use in the common areas & our waiter had on a mask the entire time. Our dinner experience was exactly what we had hoped for which was good food that appealed to everyone in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. Thanks again, we loved it!

The people make the place! We loved the fun and friendly staff! Ordered three pizzas to be delivered to Big Canoe. They all looked amazing and were prepared with fresh ingredients, great cheese, and a thick crust/dough. .We were missing the sauce or this would have been a home run. A side of marinara next time for sure. I would love the option for a thin crust pizza too We hear this new team makes delicious Italian dishes! We will be back again soon to check it out! Thanks Forno!

Went here 2 weeks ago and the pizza was phenomenal. Went back again last Friday and ordered 2 large pizzas to go. Got home and found that we received 2 small pizzas in large boxes. I called the restaurant to tell them what happened. The girl gets an attitude with me and says “Well ma’am were they in a large box?” Yes, they were in a large box but they’re small pizzas. Then she says they’re under new management and the cooks don’t know how to stretch the pizza yet but that’s their large. And I tell her, no, that’s not acceptable. These are small pizzas and I paid for large. She asks if I want to talk to a manager and I tell her no, I just want what I ordered. She says nothing to me and I hear her in the background “She wants to talk to a manager.” The manager picks up and I go over the same thing with him. He asks if I want the pizzas remade. Now given that the first girl just told me their cooks were too incompetent to make a large pizza I should have just asked for my money back, but unfortunately I asked that they remake the pizza. He says they’re backed up so it’ll be 30-40 minutes. Um, no, when you screw my order up my remake goes to the front of the line. I should not have to tell him this. So I take the 2 small pizzas back and when I get there the cook tells the hostess “Just tell her to keep them.” But does not say this kindly, mind you, says it as though I have been difficult and am inconveniencing them. So I get the 2 new pizzas and sure enough, they are not much bigger than the first. At this point, whatever, I’ve got 4 small pizzas. On my way out a guy stops me to ask if my pizzas were too small, too. Says he’s seen a few people come back because of that. Got home with the pizzas and they were doughy, which makes sense since the cooks don’t know how to stretch them. They were not very hot and did not have enough toppings on them. All 4 small pizzas ended up in the trash. Awful food and pitiful customer service.

We went in and placed our order for takeout they said it would be around 15 min so we went next door to do a little grocery shopping came back and no pizza somehow the printer didn’t print the ticket so the guy in the back could make the pizza. The guy apologized and offered a free drink and said it would be ready in 15 min. After about 20 min the pizza was ready but then they forgot about the salad my wife ordered so we had to wait for that. The pizza was very good and not over cooked the crust was not hard it was a very good pizza .

We went in the middle of the day, so of course we did not expect the restaurant to be busy. The food was great. However, there are a few things this owner could do to make the star quality improve. If you are serving Italian food, by all means, have some Pandora Italian music playing softly in the background .Understand your customer and what they are ordering, I asked for Fettuccine “without chicken” but got home and it had no Alfredo sauce ( which again could be my fault which is why they are getting 4 stars. I should have said, with sauce and no chicken. In addition, to improve ratings, if a customer asks for roasted garlic, there should be some in an Italian restaurant! It is so inexpensive and makes Italian food taste so good. Again, it’s the small stuff that makes ratings improve. We will be back again and hope for the restaurant ratings to improve. The food is good and it has huge potential with some tender loving care and initiative and pride from the owner to improve.

We are out of town and wanted to give this place a try due to limited dining options outside Big Canoe. We knew it may be a toss up based on reading the reviews. This place may be one of the worst (yet hilarious) places I’ve ever eaten. I would definitely not recommend it for anyone looking for a good meal; however if you want to go and be completely perplexed and entertained by the behaviors of the staff—-this is your place. The owner is a character, and I do hope he is able to get it together and turn this place around. I don’t see it being in business long if he can’t.

Didnt know this little place was here! It is incredibly pretty on the inside and really clean! I ordered a blue moon (it came in a huge cup, ice cold) and 1 slice of pepperoni pizza! This slice is the size of my head! Its gigantic! The sauce is savory, the cheese tastes fresh, and the crust is thin and crispy. I’ve been here for maybe 10 minutes and I already have my food in front of me. The staff is really sweet as well! I will definitely be coming back here, and I’ll be bringing my friends! Thanks for everything

They have recently changed their menu, direction of intention and probably owner. Instead of being a classical Italian restaurant with pastas and traditional meals they are now an eclectic eatery with a focus on being a sports bar. Our chili dog – Italian right? came out with thoroughly cold chili throughout. This wasn’t because it sat in the window for 20 minutes. For it to be this cold it would have had to sat in the freezer. Then the waiter, bless his little cotton socks, asked us if they could just nuke it. No. We don’t want a scalding hot, lazily prepared meal. But thanks for asking? I can’t even remember the other dish because I was so distracted by the smoking mullet filled porch that I forgot. This place should separate its name into two words. FOR NO. As in for no reason should you go here.
