This place right here is it. One of the owners Chris went above and beyond to make my wedding a very special day. Everything came out. The staff was very polite professional and attentive. The hostess and the bartender made a great team your communicated well between each other on our needs. Another worker Odell noticed a slight change in me due to an incident not pertaining to the wedding said some kind words and kept me grounded and focused. Which I am truly grateful to him for that.

Located at the bed of Quinnipiac River. Parking is limited. We were quickly seated. Great atmosphere on a Saturday evening with live music. They have two seating sections, outside or inside. Before I go into what we ordered, I want to point out that their Appetizer menu options is bigger than their Entrees.

Not a good experience. It was my first time and I ordered pizza. They told me 20 minutes to pick up, but it took 45 minutes. They sliced it and packed the slices on top of each other, so the warm melted cheese got stuck to the paper and detached from the pizza bread. I ate the few pieces that seemed almost intact and the taste was so-so. Nothing amazing. Not coming back.

My experience at Q River was one of the best days I had in a longtime going out to eat close to the water sweet location the staff was very professional now onto the food I got to tell you everything my wife and I had was AMAZING!!! Flavor in everything the Salmon, rice , spinach with garlic, salad, barbecue wings taste like your momma cooking we had the brownie dessert OMG! If you get one your going to eat it slow because you want it to last forever a must try . First of all, I have not set foot inside this restaurant —my complaint is about the level of sound coming from the rear deck of the restaurant and traveling across the Quinnipiac river to my boat at the QR Marina which is nearly a mile away! I can’t take a nap or read a book because of the level of sound which travels across the water. Please be aware of the folks across the river who wish for a quiet Sunday afternoon. I’m sure food and service are excellent and I’ll be coming soon for dinner. Thank you!

This place was really nice, we had the chicken sandwich, fried calamari, fish tacos and seasoned wings.. I didn’t like the fish tacos but everything else was very good. Great service by our waiter. Beautiful views of the water.

Was here on a Sunday, split an order of calamari and shrimp po’ boy. Both absolutely excellent. The service was outstanding at the bar, Akire and Terese we both incredibly personable and great at their crafts. The owners and chefs were all so nice. They really make a homey and comfortable environment, and you can tell everyone is having a good time while they are working. It’s nice to have this place in the neighborhood and will be back soon.
