This is a pretty good American style Mexican place. It is in the heart of University of Delaware on main Street, and is not what I would call a dive. Dive. It’s a little nicer than that. I think the food here was good and I would go back. I haven’t been here in probably a couple years. But I would go back.

The queso and guacamole are delicious! I filled up on those and the chips before my food came out. The drinks are strong and a good price. Each time I was here the servers were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, very friendly! We will definitely be back!

i would like to say that this is a very good restaurant HOWEVER. the soupa de abuelas is the most vile and unappetizing thing i have ever eaten. this was equivalent to dirt water with a side of cilantro. the chicken? DRY the rice? ROCK HARD. harder than rocks if you will. i simply cannot describe how horrid this meal was on my taste buds. i felt personally attacked eating this soup and i felt as though it was not worth the 7$ i spent on it. i will not be ordering the soupa de abuela again. in fact take it off the menu i could’ve made dirt water with chicken at home.

Seated promptly. Street tacos was unbelievable. Drinks were amazing. Waitress/server was very unique. She was stayed on top of everything including drinks cleaning off the table and made our visit amazing. Very energetic, kept a smile, and definitely would come back cause of her. Name i believe was Shauny possibly very short blonde hair. As said staff was great food was amazing and drinks were on point.

Ordered items with grilled chicken ( nachos and quesadillas and chimichanga ) , but what we got was pulled chicken ( and we dislike pulled chicken which is why we selected grilled in the first place )and the Chicken did not taste fresh ! Another dish ordered was ok , sides tasted good ! Very expensive , so didn’t Expect most of the items to be delivered wrong !

I’ve been ordering to go from many places and all I can say about Santa Fe Is go and try it, Tasty tacos and amazing authentic salsas, take out comes with chips and salsa , they have a limited menu because the covid19 (i missed their chilaquiles) but their selection is just best sellers, Alambre mar y tierra was delicious, street tacos on point and I love the fact they gave you spicy sauce to go.
