Haven’t been here in years but had to pick up food for my kids since Krispy krunchy chicken next door was closed on Tuesdays. Ordered two egg banh mi’s plain and the shop didn’t question it at all. Paid cash and it was ready pretty quickly. My kids enjoyed them and I want to come back to try other sandwiches!

Give this place another try. I got a combo sandwich taste just ok kind of dry and not much taste. Lack of pate and mayo. Banh Mi & Rolls in San Bruno ave is better.

The male owner is very rude. He literally yelled at me when I tried to pay for my breakfast takeout with $20.02 for a total of $19.92. He threw back my 2 cents and gave me 8 cents in return. He could have politely explained to me that his business doesn’t take pennies, but he chose a very rude and stupid approach to treat his customers. I have never encountered such a rude owner before and will never come to this restaurant again. There are many other good Vietnamese restaurants in the Sunset district.

Really good banh mi. Cash only unless you order online- they’re pretty fast if you order at the door anyways. I wouldn’t say it’s the best in the city but I haven’t found a better one in this part of the sunset, at least yet 🙂

Small shop, super friendly, good prices. I got a chicken Banh Mi and their Thai Tea. Both good! Only downside is that they are cash only when you order at the counter. But you can order online if you’re short on cash.

Decent meal, good price. Pro tip: order through Yelp or Grubhub for takeout and you can use a card. Otherwise, it’s cash only.

This place extremely misogynistic and disrespectful. My wife came at 9am on a Wednesday morning and wanted to put in an order but the store wasn’t ready. She asked the owner if she can stay inside the store as it was cold outside. The owner rude replied no in Vietnamese without any explanation. She put in an order for a couple of sandwiches. I came to pick up an hour later to which the male owner replied “I threw them away”. The sandwich chef told owner “I ate one of the sandwiches” and I picked up the other sandwich.

Been here for takeout a bunch of times and love it. Very fast service, and the people working there have always been really sweet. Huge fan of the chicken banh mi and banh uot, as well as the desserts. For veg options, prefer the tofu banh mi over the vegetarian banh mi, although others may disagree!

Hard to banh cuon and banh Uot (steamed rice sheet noodles) in SF that also offer vegan options. They do a great platter of both, veggie Banh Mi, and many other options.

I got the fried tofu banh mi and it was delicious! Really great value for the price, and service was very fast. I didn’t wait more than 5 minutes for my sandwich, and the man working there was friendly
