I didn’t hate it but I didn’t love it either. I didn’t like it enough for me to come back unfortunately. I got the lone ranger roll and popcorn shrimp volcano roll. The rolls underneath the shrimp were a bit wet and difficult to pick up with the chop sticks. They kept falling apart. In terms of flavor, I felt there could have been more. Lots of sauce on the rolls, but not enough distinct flavor

First experience was not great. Service was good, everyone very kind and polite. I was also the only person in the restaurant. Ordered 4 rolls and some shrimp fried rice. While I waited for it to be made she brought me my bill which was a bit of sticker shock but I thought that maybe the rolls are pretty big. My order was to go and when she brought out 2 small little bags and my heart sunk. I was pretty hungry and that did not look like a lot of food for what I just paid for. I got home and noticed I only got 3 rolls and the rice. Checked my receipt and sure enough they didn’t even get my 4th roll on there, which made it even crazy more expensive for on 3 rolls. Plus the rolls were like small little, thin, 6 piece rolls each. Hardly what I would expect for that price. Won’t be returning. Best of luck if you have a better experience.

Upon entering, there’s a nice sized patio to dine on with seating for about 12 (although I’m not sure I’ll be out there in this 110° weather.) For starters, don’t pass up the spicy edamame – it’s insane and all of the basic rolls have a lot of fish inside…great value also. The specialty rolls are great as well but I’m more into the fish so I don’t need all the fancy sauces and decorations that accompany them. Service is almost great when the owners are in-house, this place is no exception as they make sure everything is good and you are happy with your meal and service. The fish is always super fresh, which is more than I can say for 80% of the places I’ve been. Definitely recommend this place, it’s even worth a trip out in this sweltering heat ☀️

I had tried this place before a long time ago and thought it was fine, so I decided to order lunch from here today since a lot of other sushi places are closed Mondays. I don’t know what happened since then, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. I got 3 rolls (two basic ones) and spicy edamame for a total of $41. The rolls were smaller than other places (6 pieces instead of 8) and so tasteless, too much extra rice used to fill them, and the thinnest amount of fish I’ve ever received before. I think that’s why it literally didn’t taste like anything at all. For one of the basic rolls I asked for regular salmon vs smoked in it – I’ve never been upcharged for this before, but they charged me $3 additional for this and didn’t let me know when I placed the order. Also their prices in general varied from what I saw online. Totally disappointed and such a waste of money compared to a lot of other places in the area.

Ok… I thought this place was great when we ordered pick up. It’s even better eating inside. Been twice in a week… might be my new favorite restaurant in Frisco… butterfly kiss, super white tuna, and some pork appetizer… I haven’t had one bad thing yet.

Excellent sushi, their sashimi is always fresh and very good quality. Service could not be better. We ear there often and the food and service are always five star. Their tempura appetizer is also very good. Make sure you try the spicy edamame.

First time trying this place and I’m never going back. We got take out and our food looked nothing like their pictures. Their sushi was super fishy (took one bite and threw it away) and tasted like a gas station sushi. Wish I took pictures before throwing everything away…
