Excellent food and even more excellent service provided by our server Ricky. We have been looking for a good Greek restaurant in the area and finally found one, after the many disappointments of restaurants promising great gyros & other Greek delicacies. Get a reservation online, especially for Friday and Saturday nights. It is a very popular place. We really like Greek food, and despite coming to Daytona several times every year, we just found this place recently. We’ve been missing out. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, the hummus is terrific, and feta fries are worth the extra couple bucks to upgrade. We were too full to try dessert, but I suspect that is well done too. We will definitely be back.

The hummus is the bomb!! So, so good!! The gyro bowl was delicious with fresh veggies, the gyro sandwich was perfect. The tzatziki sauce was thick and delicious! Emily was our server and she did an amazing job!!

Loved everything about this restaurant. Emily is an excellent waitress; extremely efficient. The dining room and all of the amenities, (tables, chairs, glasses, plates, silverware, etc.) were very clean. The music was at an appropriate volume and atmosphere enhancing, (traditional Greek music). The tables were well spaced apart so one didn’t feel crowded. Will definitely be back!

I meant to take a photo before I started eating but the food looked so good I completely forgot. All the food we got was so very good. I got the stuffed chicken and my husband got the lamb, both were very well cooked and tasted great. The desserts were also very good. The service was very friendly and fast, the resturant is very clean and well decorated. It was a great date night I would recommend to anyone who loves greek food.

Love great and unique food and Greektown Taverna does not disappoint! Today I tried a few of their specials and WOW!!! I had a cup of the absolute best New England Clam Chowder ever… Not too thick, not too loose, literally just perfect. Next was their Gyro Pita Pizza (pictured below) w/ Gyro meat slices, Mozzarella, Arugula, Feta Cheese, Pickled Red Onion and topped with a scrumptious Fig drizzle… I pray this makes it’s way to their regular menu!!! I never eat desert at lunch but simply could not resist the Lemon Custard w/Filo (Galaktoboureka) and it was to die for! The staff and atmosphere are right on par with the amazing quality meal they prepared…. all together, less than $25… unbelievable.

Yesterday was my first visit to this restaurant. I can’t say enough about our service. In a large group sometimes service is not the best, but Scott brought his A game to work with him. Every request was attended to quickly with great respect. He was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. I ordered the Chicken Corfu, which was outstanding. I also ordered the Spanakopita, (spinach and feta pie with filo crust). I could seriously eat this for a meal!!! I had never had Greek food before, but I am ready to go back and try some more. Thank you Greektown Taverna for an exceptional dining experience. I’ve also included photos of other orders in our group.

I just wanted to share my experience because it was an absolutely great one! I had Scott as my waiter and he not only delivered excellent service but he was pretty easy on the eyes as well. He was polite and flirtatious and really sold me on all the most expensive dishes but somehow he made it all worth it. The only complaint I have is that I left my number at the table and I haven’t received a call yet so I’m a bit nervous to back in… yikes
