My first time here and they did not disappoint. The jumbo tip was an apple amount to share. They were not chopped to bits and pieces, nice sized tips. The sauce is delicious and the fresh cut fries is the cherry on top. The service was fast and the worker was courteous and friendly. I will definitely come back to slab.

Sorry to say I was not happy. The combo was not the way to go. The sauce is really good. And the wings are amazing, but when i noticed i only had 2 in a combo???? Well. They are really good. The Tips… not so much, they were tough. I couldn’t eat them.

I placed my order over the phone, pleasantry over the phone. Additionally, my order of 2 chicken wing dinners with mixed sauce ( the wings were normal sized wings-not too small and not too large), rib tips chopped small(tender), candied yams, greens and mac n cheese. The fries are freshly cut and fried well. Customer service was on point with delicious food! Thank you.

The food here is great. I ordered on-line, and was given at time that it would be ready to pick it up. However, I wanted to pickup at a later time. The automated system didn’t prompt me to give the time I wished to pickup. When I got there my order was not ready. I had to wait until it was prepared which wasn’t very long. It worked out.

As far as I have seen on Chicago’s Southside, this is the last of the few remaining good rib joints. The service is great and the workers have pleasant attitudes. It helps that I’ve never seen the obnoxious a**hole customer but they are out here so who knows. The food, sauce and sides are prepared with great care.

Okay so who decided to put Coleslaw in a Thimble and it had the nerve to have a Top on it. Container so small a fork wouldn’t fit in it. Just leave it out if you don’t want to give enough. Food to high to get some mess like that. Complain about patronizing Black Business and this is what you do to us! Purchased Turkey Keg, Three Large Turkey Tips amd 4 Wing Dinners on 7/7/2023 came across town for it also! We must do better!

Order a Large tip, it seemed a smaller one. When I got home I had to cut the tips into smaller pieces. Plus price doesn’t match up with u get. They also didn’t have any flavor. Well always go the best route. Cook your own..!!

The bbq chicken and ribtips are so good. The sauce is the pies de resistance. The baked beans are very good, nice and thick with a decent amount of ground meat. Tastes like what I would make.
