We got their sushi, and let me tell you…it was OUTSTANDING. Ordered this on a whim, but ended up being one of the most pleasant surprises of 2023. Incredibly fresh fish and expertly crafted rolls. The only explanation is that Hotel Laguna has kidnapped Nobu himself and enlisted him to work in their sushi kitchen. Highly recommend!

Literally the best of all the restaurants we chose for our event. Absolutely the best and most helpful and down to earth staff, beautiful space, and excellent food. Kudos also to the bartender who made both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for our guests that were amazingly delicious. Amazing job. This place is worth every penny.

Went here to celebrate Valentines on Saturday Feb 12th . Had a reservation and was seating with five minutes that was great. However it took over 30 min for our waiter to acknowledged we were there. When we finally got our drinks the Cocktails were really good especially the lemon drop martini . The Beef Cigar Appetizer was really good . Once we ordered it took about 1hr to get out food. We noticed one couple take their food to go , another couple did complian what was taking so long. Both plates we ordered had good taste but the portion of Pasta for $38 was ridiculously small. The cut of Salmon for $68 was also the smallest I’ve ever received at a restaurant. If the service can improve and the portions can actually be a meal instead of an Appetizer this place could be outstanding but for this visit its a 3 star review

The location is fabulous, the prices are ridiculous high. $11 for a small side dish of broccoli, cocktails $18 and up; service is OK, not 5 star, never got the extra napkin we asked for (it was not overly busy), long wait for drinks, long wait for food, quality of food was OK, bread was awesome, mussels OK (menu informs ‘with white wine’, must have been sweet white wine. Basically too sweet), steak sandwich mediocre (weired presentation), French fries excellent, tacos had cold meat, served on cold plates, chicken fingers fine.

Situated in the Hotel Laguna, Larsen is a chic restaurant that has an indoor area and a beautiful balcony/deck with direct amazing first row views on the ocean, the reception ladies were kind to accommodate us as a walk-in and the staff were friendly offering recommendations for food and drinks…the music and the DJ were very nice, we took some appetizers and drinks and the quality was also very good, highly recommend the place if you’re ever in Laguna beach

If you are looking for a place with a great view and great food Larsen is the spot for you. Get your seat by the beach and enjoy a shared menu with sushi from FIN which we had as an appetizer. We went for brunch so these tacos and steak sandwich were the perfect cure for our hungry. We can not wait to go back for dinner after this amazing lunch.

Very cute restaurant by the water. Great spot to take a photo. The food was good/okay! I had the shiitake mushroom tacos and they were nothing special, but not bad either. The chips with guacamole on the side were good. Cocktails were cute but okay tasting!
