Not sure what I disliked the most- the meager and overpriced salad bar (basically a selection of ante pasta with some iceberg as an after thought) or the delightfully racist and politically charged bartender. I’m sorry but I don’t want to hear about how you hate immigrants before I’ve even placed my drink order.

A disaster. It took two full hours for the (mediocre) food to arrive and another 40 minutes for the bill after we asked for it. The servers were polite and apologetic, but the management was irritable, aggressive, and did not seem to care at all about any aspect of their work. The restaurant is physically dirty and dark, and the overall experience is about as repellent as we have ever undergone — on four continents. We would go hungry rather than eat here again.

REOPENED!!!! Excellent Scallops and Steak. I was quite impressed with the quality of the food. The scallops couldn’t have been better. I will say that the stuffed mushrooms were very sweet and I did not like then, but aside from that I cannot complain. Timely service, excellent food, good drinks menu. I will be back!

This place is absolutely fabulous! The restaurant is cozy and inviting, everyone’s meal was cooked to perfection, and the service was excellent. I had the best steak I have had in years…maybe ever (the blue cheese crusted Delmonico)!! I also tried a bite of my niece’s Fettuccine Alfredo and I could tell that it was home made sauce…It was sooo delicious! I highly recommend Steak and Stein, it is one amazing place!
