Glad to see the restaurant reopened after closing for renovation for the past month or two, so people living in this part of town don’t need to drive all the way to South Federal to enjoy decent and authentic Chinese food. Brighter and more refreshing interior, the same welcoming staffs and not overly crowded even during weekends. The menu items are comparable to before with the addition of a few new plates. Make sure to ask for suggestions, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Decent place for Dimsum and closer to our home, I’m not a fan of their Shanghai xiao long bao but will go back for other food

After Emperor Palace closed there was very limited options for dim sum in the Broomfield and surrounding area. I was happy to find that Hong Guan Chinese Restaurant would be opening at the same location. I finally made it today. It was really good slightly different than Emperor Palace but I really enjoyed everything I tried.

So excited for this new dim sum spot! My very picky Taiwanese parents have had to drive from Boulder all the way to south Aurora for any good Asian cuisine (except for China Gourmet in north Boulder). We’re happy to find a more accessible spot for them closer in Broomfield! Delicious dim sum staples as well as a variety of other entrees! Newly renovated with a new owner (who is a chef himself). There is still the previous Emperor Palace sign, be sure to check our Hong Guan!

Authentic. Delicious Dumplings. I’ve been coming back since accidentally being the very first customer on opening day. Better than Denver! They do creative little touches like a slice of carrot between the steamer and the Dumpling. And as hot dishes are prepared a server brings trays by offering the hottest freshest items. Hong Guan is a hidden gem to try today. This is one of favorite restaurants in the region

Best Chinese food in the Broomfield area and very authentic too. They have dim sum on weekends and some limited dim sum items you can order for weekday lunch and dinner as well. Service was great and food was fast! Love this place!

This restaurant has the best authentic Chinese food in the area. They also recently improved the interior. Really wish they would update their phone number and online menu tho

I cant believe I’ve found a dim sum place better than star kitchen! My boyfriend and I drove 30mins away to get here and it was worth it. Best egg tarts I’ve ever had in Colorado. My new go to spot (^-^)
