As if I needed another reason to love this place, he started making fried zucchini. It’s what I’ve been missing the most from my hometown and nowhere has had what I’m looking for until now. I’ve tried x-hot, hot, and mild, and honest they’re all really good, but at this point I can only eat up to hot unless I want my insides to melt. I recommend this place to everyone. It’s so good every time.

So glad I stopped here today! This place is legit. I’m from SWVa, so I know my chicken. I make Nashville hot at home once a month because I miss it so much living out here. I was so happy to find out about this food truck. Pyre exceeded all my expectations. Food is made to order and unbelievably fresh. The chicken is cooked to perfection. The hot is not “melt your face off” spice, but it’ll clear your sinuses! Owner said the extra Hot has scorpion pepper, perhaps too much for me. Curly fries were hot, seasoned, and crispy. Really kind service. I can’t wait to return.

So good!!! It is so hard to find fried chicken that is not over cooked. Perfectly crispy and juicy, this is definitely some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. Crazy spice levels were perfect for my family.

I ordered the gizzards. One with no heat for me and one mildly spicy for my brother. Both were excellent. They has a perfect crunchy exterior and the perfect interior texture! Just what you want in gizzards. It was my first time here and I will be going back every weekend they have gizzards. Call ahead to see if they are available. They go quickly!!! Majorly delicious!!!

Chicken is tasty and juicy. I got the chicken sandwich and tenders. Portions are great. Curly fries were also really good. I would recommend. Hot is acceptable heat. XX Hot is pretty extreme for me.

I tried the hot chicken sandwich, 2 mild tenders and one x-hot tender. X- hot is one level under the XX-hot which I figured would be to hot for me. The sandwich was beautiful and delicious and was definitely hot but totally enjoyable. The mild tenders were, perfect and tasty, although they were hotter than I expected for a mild.
