Mom & Pops restaurant for sure. Very comfortable environment. The service was great with a smile. The bacon & cheese omelet was delicious! The Greek omelet was very good. The strawberry and banana crepes was sweet & made to perfection. Definitely stop in for a visit & bring the family.

We were driving across Indiana and stopped at Fair Oaks farms based off of multiple recommendations. We were not happy at all with are experienced there they were out of biscuits at 10:30 on a Saturday morning. So we looked at reviews and decided to come to the Royal Oak. Everything was perfect we were waited on in a timely fashion the girls who worked there were polite and friendly and fast. Our food was very good tasty and at a reasonable price. My husband had the prime rib special and I had a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy and a Belgian waffle. The Belgian waffle was terrific my husband tried some and agreed. I enjoyed my biscuits and gravy too.

I wish every city had a family restaurant like this. Great, and I mean great food. On my up to Chicago for work I took a chance and a little time to detour here for lunch. I highly recommend doing so, well worth it. Large portions and great quality

To start.. they have a very hot red head host. WOW!! The food is great. Big plates of food. They don’t hold back. The service is second to none. My drink stayed full and I was a happy man. Keep it up royal oak!!

Went for breakfast. The restaurant was clean. I thought menu items seemed over priced. $4.99 for a side of hashbrowns. My omelet was way over cooked, and was dripping in oil, it actually slid around my plate. We had to ask for 2 extra silverware rolls, the waitress said oh why do you need more silverware…..because there are 4 of us and only 2 silverware rolls on the table!
