Attention everyone!! If you’re looking for a great place to eat this is it!! The Deli is better than Jersey Mikes, Jimmy John’s, and Subway all together!! I came here from Delmar,Md close to Ocean City and no one had topped this place!! If you haven’t already been here then give it a try and you won’t be disappointed!! The toppings are fresh the bread is on point and the meat is so delicious. You will not be disappointed!! Stop in and get a bite to eat for yourself or your family!! You won’t regret it!! This is by far the best on the East Coast!!

I had an incredible experience at The Deli in Fairfax, VA! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed and appreciated as a customer. The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The service was top-notch, and it’s clear that the family running the deli puts their heart and soul into everything. OMG what an awesome sandwich. The employees were great. Very helpful and pleasant. I went early and ordered The Super Bird. That was the biggest and best sandwich I have ever had. The veggies were so fresh you and the meat was also fresh. I have found my new sandwich place. Thank you for the great food and service. Will be back soon. Back at it again, have had over half the menu at this point, feel pretty comfortable giving them five stars here. The bread is always amazing, the content and weight of the inside of every sub I’ve had has been more than sufficient, and the taste and flavor is always good. Photos below are of the Salty Dog, made hot, would highly recommend. My go to is the Mad Italian though.

I was in the mood for an Italian sub and I happened to see that The Deli is nearby. I didn’t know that it was located at it’s current location as my husband frequented this establishment over the years when it was at its prior location. This was my first visit and it was great! Covid procedures are in place and when we went in to place our order, we happened to be there at the right time as it was not crowded. I ordered the “Mad Italian” with everything on it & my husband ordered the meatball sub with only cheese & sauce. While we were waiting on our sandwiches to be made, it was interesting to see some of the Italian products sold with vintage album covers gracing the wall above. We took our food to go and it was a good twelve minute drive back to our home. I was very pleased when I arrived home to see that my sub was intact as it was tightly wrapped in wax paper and butcher paper. Since I had everything on my sub which included mayo & oil & vinegar, their freshly baked Italian roll was thin but able to withstand the generous portion of cold cuts & vegetables. The roll did not fall apart which is a big plus in my book as nothing is worse when you are trying to eat a sub and the bread disintegrates upon the first few bites. At The Deli, Gabriella’s Italian Cookies (from Brooklyn, NY) are also sold. These cookies are always a delicious way to end a meal. There are multiple locations of this establishment in Washington D.C. and in Virginia. What a great local treat, we will definitely be back!

This place used to do everything right. I’m sure things will pick up again one day, but for now, everything I’ve been getting has not been what I wanted. Just now I’ve asked for a tuna melt with peppers and American cheese. No melt, no peppers. This hasn’t been the first time, and certainly won’t be the last unless things get back in order. Thank you for the service, but it’s getting desperate. Hope things pick up again soon.
