The restaurant had dirty tables that were there for a while before someone cleaned them. The server was not very organized and it was taking a while for her to take care of customers. The restaurant was not busy when we went yet it would take her a long time just to get you anything. The menudo meat was not cut properly, so you had to cut the meat down to be able to chew it, and there was not enough hominy in it. It took forever just to get our food and even more so for us to get that check. We just went up to the front to pay. She seemed frustrated anytime you asked her for anything. And I thought it was improper for one of the cooks to be eating food in the back where he’s supposed to be cooking. Isn’t that against safety regulations?

We tried a pound of the mix which included carnitas, buche, cuero and costilla. It was very tasty although the cueros were a little too soft for our taste. The order came with tortillas and all the sides that are pictured. Overall it was good but, the restaurant itself wasn’t very clean and the service wasn’t great.

They sell me three tacos with few meat, from the caldo soup. My husband ask for caldo and it was just nerves without veggies. They said it close at 8pm but at 6 they close the door of the restaurant
