Great ambience and terrific view of ocean in distance. Breakfast menu includes some very tasty French toast and pancakes and the lattes are very good. Dinner menu is more limited but tasty – clam chowder was good and shrimp dumplings as well. Even when breezy and cool at night they have nice spots with heaters going!

As with numerous other reviews, the setting and views are fantastic. Great for sunset. Unfortunately, service was lacking- in fact our server disappeared for nearly 30 minutes prior to ordering entrees. Overall the food was ok, not amazing but good enough. I really dislike leaving negative reviews and if the service and food could get closer to the view, this place would be 5 ⭐️

Overall , very beautiful dinner atmosphere, food and drink were great as well. Just soo disappointed on the reservation aspect. So I was told there was no reservations for seating tonight and that they were all booked up, but the bar is open and a few high top tables for dinner. My wife and I arrived at 530, ( when dinner began) sat at the bar, which I said was good, but half the restaurant sat empty till 7 when we left, very disappointed. On that aspect . Probably wouldn’t be back, Maybe the restaurant needs to look into how they take reservations, if people make reservations, but half the restaurant sits empty, because they are not showing up for dinner . Setting is amazing, beautiful patio terrace. I thought the service was above average. Nice beer and drink list. I got the beef tenderloin, it was good but not great. I thought they could’ve given more of the mashed potatoes and vegetables for the money. The beer itself was an excellent cut of meat cooked the way I like it. I would definitely go back but I didn’t think it was the best food I had on my vacation to Ocean Edge last week.

Unfortunately our waitress could not be bothered by us. Had to ask several times for numerous things. I had the “brick chicken” and the wife had scallops. The chicken was incredibly overcooked and thus hard to eat. Scallops were nearly raw. For the price, I’ve never had a worse meal and service. Never leave poor reviews because I get it, things happen. This was truly horrific.

Disappointing and overwhelmingly mediocre. With such an amazing setting and buildings that scream old world quality and service, the Terrace falls far short or expectations for a great lunch spot by the sea. The food, especially the lobster roll leads the below expectations parade…utterly tasteless, undersized and overpriced at $32 – even though the online menu listed it at $26 which was brought to the attention of the waiter. He checked with “management” who decided to enforce the higher price tag. What a missed opportunity to make a good impression by righting what was clearly a mistake on their part. The “house recipe” Veggie burger was large, but under seasoned and mushy….not very manageable in its bun or on the undersized plate on which it was served. Service was fair…nothing to write home about. Atmosphere was pleasant- mostly from the extravagant, albeit steamy hot, outside setting.

Lovely location and course is exceptional. We had major issues with restaurant. Service staff was newbies all imported on H-1B visas. Looked like majority of employees all foreigners and not local American high school or college kids. The spills and dropped food and trays and total incompetence showed little waitstaff training. This is a classy place and it’s not cheap. Food is awesome, though with the traditional higher-end pretentious small portions. We demand high levels of care in this atmosphere #Fail. Then we learned that entire facility does not pay their local taxes! They are years behind!!! These sob owners are stealing from local MA taxpayers just so they can milk some stupid, elites who don’t care about America. Horrible! Our family will never return.
