First time trying Ramblin Roads. The menu had the basic things you’d expect at a restaurant like this. But…… They have a secret menu that you must ask about. We ordered crepes which comes with the best cream cheese filling and two fruits (strawberry and blueberry). My wife ordered blueberry stuffed french toast. Both were incredible! The crepes came with Ramblin potatoes and if you haven’t tried them, you must. So much better than hash browns.

A really great family run restaurant. Eggs Benedict we’re perfectly cooked. English muffin was moist. Hash browns were that perfect combination of crunchy and soft. The Ramblin Scramble was a very big proportion and well prepared. This is a fairly popular place so the wait was a bit, and well worth it.

Wanted to try a new breakfast place today so we tried Ramblin Roads and it was a pretty disappointing experience. We paid $30 for two people without drinks. The stuff french toast was just two pieces of french toast with strawberry yogurt in between it. The ramblin potatoes were also soft and not crunchy which was a disappointment. We waited quite some time for our food. I don’t think we will be returning especially when there are other breakfast places that are a bit better. Overall a 2.5/5. Don’t plan on coming back.

This is a very local diner feeling. The kind of feeling like everyone knows everyone. The restaurant is bigger than I expected for that diner feeling.

1st time going here. Just a avg. breakfast. I have had lots better at other places in Layton. Service was slow. Took 10 minutes for order to be taken. 15 minutes for order to come out. Omelette was warm not hot. It all tasted good though. Wasn’t impressed with the Scone.

I’ve had breakfast here a couple times and was very satisfied with the quality and portion size. Dinner, unfortunately, wasn’t nearly as good – the meatloaf was over-salted, the mashed potatoes were completely drowned in gravy (the server didn’t offer the option of having it on the side), and the corn was lukewarm. The chicken tortilla soup had plenty of chicken but was otherwise unremarkable. My wife had the chicken alfredo but there was no trace of garlic in it and the chicken was overdone.

The food was decent. The scone was super fluffy, I would get that again. The kids meals weren’t much smaller than the adult meals. I’m sure we’ll give this place another try in the future. It’s a nice change up from other diners in the area.

Food was superb. The stuffed french toast was so delicious! What really made Ramblin Roads stand out was the service and atmosphere. Our waitress was hilarious! She added so much to our experience.
