We (my party of 4 adults) came a little after 11:00AM on a weekday, so we would be here early to order and enjoy my daughter’s birthday meal. We ordered tempura and shumai appetizers. They were both good. We also ordered sushi entrees, and they took forever to arrive. I haven’t been here in a while because it doesn’t always fit into my budget, so this was a splurge. We didn’t leave until almost 12:45PM. I understand that sushi takes awhile to prepare but it seemed a long time. Then as people streamed in after us, we were glad we had arrived so early but it didn’t seem to help the wait time. Food was good, atmosphere was as usual. We were out of waters a few times while we waited but the restaurant was busy. Once the sushi arrived, it was good, and we were very hungry!

Hibachi Shrimp, Chicken Udon, Egg Rolls. Everything was very good. The shrimp were large with fresh vegetables. The bowl of noodles seemed bottomless. The chicken was crumbled into very small pieces. That was really the only negative, the size and amount of chicken. Dirty plate pick up, and service over all was quick, even with several “help wanted” signs. We will come back later to check out the sushi.

They canceled my DoorDash order twice because they “don’t accept promo codes”. Bummer. Was trying to save a little bit of money but still enjoy your food. They use to accept promo codes. Not sure when they changed their policy.

I was very surprised to find this place in St Mary’s. I think it’s well worth the drive to come here from Brunswick. Everything we ordered was delicious. Even the soup. I especially liked the spicy tuna but the tempura was great too and the portions were huge! My new favorite sushi place this side of the globe.
