Went to the drive thru, at the Dubois Long Johns , and was asked to pull ahead which I don’t mind because I feel that you will get fresher food. Waited at least 15-20 minutes. My bill was 32$ and we didn’t even get what we paid for. I had to go in and tell them they shorted us a whole dinner and all the sides! They gave us every sauce but tarter sauce and we ordered fish! Paid for slaw… Got the fork but no slaw . These places don’t need a raise in pay… They need to learn how to take an order and fill it. My first job was fast food and you learn to read the slip and fill the order. The food that we did get was grease soaked and the hush puppies were over cooked or double dipped in the grease. The employees at the counter are covered in tatoos,facial rings and goofy colored hair. There was a time that you had to look respectable to work in the public eye. What a shame

I love LJS. My mom and I were at the one in Dubois last week. We drove 2 hours to get there and we got the fish, shrimp and chicken. The fish and hush puppies were wonderful. I have never cared for the chicken and still don’t. The shrimp was spoiled with an awefull smell and taste. I talked to the staff and they brought me more shrimp but the smell was the same. My mother said her shrimp were fine though. The root beer was very sweet, not the taste I remember. But anyway I love LJS and I know I’ll be back.

I seldom complain but My wife’s chicken was dry and her corn tasted like it had been sitting for a month. I ordered a root beer float which they are known for and their machine was not working. The air conditioner was on so hard that we needed a coat to be in there. We have been there many times but this time was not good. I hope they bring things back up to snuff.

I love Long John Silvers! We were passing through town and stopped to eat supper at 5:30 and there was a hand written note on the front door that said dining room is closed until 6:00 due to help or staff shortage? I’m sorry, but that is unacceptable in a town this size. You have a high school and a branch of Penn State located here. Your manager is not doing their job if you can not find enough people to work with an available work force of this size. No wonder so many of your locations have closed! This is a management problem, not a supply problem.

Waited a little longer than normal… short staffed. Ice cream machine broke so husby couldn’t get his float. Food was good! Try the hushpuppy breaded fish!!!! YUM!

No matter what my family and I order we always have to wait at least 10 minutes and we must pull forward. They are not busy so why the wait is beyond me. Most of the time they are friendly, but sometimes two people will be out back and just talk while people sit at the speaker.

Didn’t recieve all that was to b in the meal. By the time u get home. It’s not noticed. It’s been done multiple times. Got a meal b4 n it didn’t even come close to how it looked in the advertised picture. I call every time. To let them know, Not to just get a coupon in the meal. Next time, I will call a person that is over their head. It is far from cheap to purchase their food.
