For over five decades this location has been serving family friendly food to the community. What started as a seasonal drive in called Cal’s became a dine-in during the late 70’s when purchased by Patsy Dickens. For 40 years Patsy’s served breakfast and lunch. When she finally decided to retire the diner was also set to close. This is when loyal patrons Barry and Walt took over the iconic diner in 2018. Their goal was to operate the diner until an ambitious new owner could be found. In 2022 when speaking with patrons Nic Robertucci and Carrie Bradford, Barry and Walt knew they had found that perfect match. Carrie and Nic have been operating the diner since April 2022.

This place is AMAZING. We are all huge breakfast snobs and none of us had any complaints – other than being sad that they’re not closer to where we actually live (please come to Boston!). EVERYTHING was great, so much flavor. The hash browns are addictive, be warned! I’m craving some now!

What a gem of a diner! We stopped in for dinner with 4 hungry kids and Tucci’s did not disappoint! The staff were so friendly and engaging and the diner was cute! There was something on the menu for everyone. Time from order to table was fast. Pricing was very reasonable. The “Kitchen Plate” dish was unique to me and I had to try it. It did not disappoint! The flavor was amazing and each item in the dish kind of jived with the other. The extreme grilled cheese was a hit with my bacon-loving son! The Sirloin burger was perfectly cooked and enjoyed as well. So glad we stopped in and thanks for a great meal!

Absolutely in love with this place. Disregard the unassuming exterior- it’s so cute inside, bright and clean. Nic is very nice and friendly as are the servers. Highly recommend the burgers- the beef is really good quality. Can’t wait to come here for breakfast next!

They helped us get a 10 person bachelorette party in on short notice and didn’t miss a single thing on our lengthy order. Super friendly, accommodating, and when one of the girls in our party started feeling sick and stepped outside, they brought us orange juice for her and helped make sure she was okay. The loveliest people and great food.

So, I came upon a Border City gem of a diner this afternoon…TUCCI’S FAMIlY DINER (the old Patsy’s Diner back in the day). Being a regular at Patsy’s, to my surprise, TUCCI’s now has a modern, updated look and feel. Let me get to the food…OUTSTANDING! Reasonably priced for the quality! Found myself sharing with my guests. Let me tell you this…tried the angus burger called the “QUICKIE”. Order the QUICKIE! You won’t go wrong and never again will you long for the normal burger elsewhere. The owners are pleasant. They understand CUSTOMER SERVICE. What? True customer service these days is a thing of the past. Come to TUCCI’S Family Diner to be treated like family. I did! TUCCI’S is now my go-to after just (1) visit. This Diner puts the local competition to shame. So what are you waiting for…business hours are Mon – Sat (7 am – 1 pm) and Fri (4 pm – 8 pm). Stopped in this morning to have breakfast. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. I have to say that they were the best I have had since I moved back from Kentucky. The biscuits were absolutely melt in your mouth. The wait staff make you feel right at home whether you are a first time customer or a long time customer. I am so glad I chose Tucci’s to try for my first time eating out at a restaurant since my husband passed, I felt right at home and comfortable.
