Not too friendly staff followed by expensive food (you have to pay $9 for chips and salsa and it’s not free to refill) the most disappointing thing was the actual food itself. Both places we normally go to were closed so we caved and came here, but not again. I ordered the portabella burrito which came with rice and beans. The tiny singular burrito consisted of 2 big undercooked chunks of green pepper and one tiny piece of a mushroom…no flavor or cheese that I could find. The best part was the mole sauce. The rice and beans were hard and flavorless. My husband got the chicken burrito, also very small and it was so dry we had to order $4 guac to eat half of it and he couldn’t finish anyway and that’s saying a lot! My husband always finishes his meals, but in this case neither of us could. The bill was over $80 and we will not come again….how is this place still in business??

Great place that had plenty of food options as well as considerate to people’s food restrictions. They had some good vegan/vegetarian options, which means it’s one of the few places you can bring a date here for dinner and not limited to just lunch.

Changing my review from five to four. I’ve been here twice and had great food both times but a completely different service experience – even with the same waitress each time.

Went to Raul’s for the first time in a couple years and was very disappointed with the portion; got a $24 steak burrito and the size was ridiculously small; I’m talking like musta been less than 1/8 of a LB of meat…. asked the server if that is typical and the reply was that since new ownership all portions are a lot smaller. Server was pretty good and and apologized + brought a little more meat over but I won’t be returning. Ide recommend chipotle for similar quality and double the size for half the price. Not really one to make negative reviews and am a big supporter of small local GF businesses but what a rip off! Wish I took a picture

The server tried to get everything handled. The place simply needed more servers. The queso was horrible & I sent it back. The salsa was not bad, just not ‘right’ either. The salmon tacos were quite good. The margaritas were uninspiring. I tried the house & the Devil one. 2 margaritas, chips & salsa (you pay to get them), 2 salmon tacos with white rice with black beans as the side), the queso was taken off the bill & yet…the bill was

We stopped in tonight for dinner at Raul’s after not eating here since late winter. Unfortunately, it will not be a repeat for us.

Consistent food and wait staff attentive the night we were in but only a few tables filled. Sangria was very sweet, and Mexican beer was good.

We just had the most disappointing dinner at Raul’s. It used to be great-fresh, reasonable, tasty. Our dinners just now were horrible and VERY overpriced for what they were. The rice was so undercooked, the beans were hard, the burritos were bland, the queso was clearly out of a can or jar, and the quesadillas aren’t had anything in them. And we paid $18 for the (dis)pleasure of each of those. It was really bad : (

We ordered to go, food was not worth the money. The rice was undercooked & hard. Beef tacos were bland not flavorful. Falafel tacos were dry, I had to put a lot of sauce to swallow. And dessert which… I gues a restaurant can go really bad with dessert. Churros a classic Mexican treat was like eating a hard fried bagel, not soft, chewy hard, bagel consistency. And the apple burrito was nothing to die for. Not impressed, I would not be eating here again.
