This is the best sandwich place around. The chicken salad sandwich and pimento cheese sandwich are my favorites! The tea and sides and desserts are good too. They usually have great seasonal items but I wish they’d make them permanent. I also wish there was one on the north side of Indianapolis like in Fishers or Carmel!

Seriously? Visited 2 hours prior to the posted closing time. The all teenage workers were so focused on closing the restaurant that customers food just sat in the pass and was not delivered. We finally got our food but the workers made it clear we needed to leave – vacuuming around our table and putting chairs on the table tops. This place is clearly not worth it, over $5.00 for a very, very small serving of macaroni and cheese. Will it ever be back.

Food is great, however the service and attitude was off putting to say the least. Sorry we inconvenienced the staff because we checked our order before we left, and brought it to the attention of staff. We didn’t want anything but the food we actually ordered, no reason to bite our heads off. Hope everyone figures a way to have a better day from here on out.

Meeks just wasn’t that good. We spent almost $50 for 3 adults & I kids meal at Newks! We could’ve went to a steak house for that price! All the have is small soups,salads,& sandwiches. And small pizza. The food was bland, and the wait was long. I felt a little robbed after paying that price and then seeing our food after it was delivered to us. Believe me when I say, McAllister’s Deli is WAAAYYY better! They have better combo meals (1/2s & 1/2s) with a much better price. Another thing I didn’t like about Newks is everything I wanted to pair with as the 1/2 & 1/2 deal, they said we couldn’t do! There is nothing on the McAllisters menu that you can’t combine, and it’s cheaper! Newks doesn’t even do daily specials. Newks food wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t good either. And the menu is confusing, and the people don’t seem very helpful either. Check out my pictures, you will definitely see how small the 1/2 sandwich actually is, you just won’t be able to taste anything to actually experience how bland it all was.

After a long day at work yesterday, I came in for the original NewksQ pizza, one of my favs, and was greeted by the nicest three ladies. And the one in red, I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, she was the sweetest! Just their kindness alone helped after such a long day. And my pizza was great!!! Will definitely be back in soon!!

This place is very unique. The food is absolutely wonderful, and i dont say that lightly. Everything here seems to be made with care and attention. There is a small bar of sides that you can add to your meal (like tomatoes, garlic, pickles, etc). The store is very clean and quite relaxing.
