Truly cannot say enough about how amazing our first experience here was. The reservation was made for a birthday- when we arrived there was a handwritten birthday note from the staff, our waitress then brought complimentary glasses of Prosecco. Our appetizers and entrees were absolutely incredible and authentic Italian. Highly recommend the mushroom risotto with scallops- they were tender enough to split with a spoon! Our waitress Cherlyn was so sweet and attentive. The staff even brought out a scoop of gelato with birthday candles in it. 100/10 experience!!! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Charleston.

SAVI Cucina continues to impress even after so many better-than-the-last experiences here. Their wine selection and expertise of their Soms is amazing. Their wine club is a great deal including two tastings per month and a choice of two bottles to go home with from each tasting. SAVI has both that lively restaurant bustle as well as a quiet and secluded back room for guests looking to have a more romantic dinner. Too many favorites on the menu to list but don’t pass up the homemade pasta or aperitivo specials.

The food is outstanding, the service is attentive and personable. J’Leigh was our server and kept us well taken care of. The owners circulate and pitch in while welcoming one and all. If you like fresh, well-thought out food, then Savi needs to be on your list! We had the Caprese Burrata and Meatball appetizers which kicked off the meal right. The bread brought to the table was soft with herbs and so yummy. For the entreea we had the Seafood Pasta (heard the sauce was divine and they didn’t lie) and the Local Catch Picatta. The Magi was seasoned and cooked to perfection with fresh pasta. The Seasonal Berry Cobbler with the homemade Gelato topped off the night just right! Every bite is a mouth party at Savi and you may find yourself tempted to lick the plates!

We are regulars, so we no know the staff like a second family. Today, we ordered the special of the week, crab cake which was great. But a small side dish of mashed potatoes actually really stood out. Mashed potatoes are usually overlooked and not seen as the glory part of the meal, but Mike (we asked who made them) made them FANTASTIC!!! We ordered more to go for a future meal. Ike makes some of the best meals around along with their kitchen manager, Tom. A dynamic trio between Ike, Mike, and Tom.

From Cleveland Ohio, when my friends and I come to South Carolina we always like to come here. The service is good and well paced. The meatball app is delicious, the calamari and shrimp app is fresh, crisp and lightly breaded. The calamari is not rubber band like at ALL! It’s delicious and so is the dipping sauce. Nice size half salad. Lobster and crab ravioli with vodka sauce is great. Generous with the Lobster, pasta is fresh, and the sauce is great! When we left, I forgot my sunglasses and a nice gentleman followed us all the way around the corner to return them to us. Awesome hospitality. Awesome atmosphere. Good food and wine selection.

From the staff to the food and the vibe of this place I do give it 5 stars. It’s rare now a days to find a place where people like to work in the restaurant business but these people do and it shows. Do not miss the mushroom risotto, add chicken. Your mouth will thank you.

My wife suggested this place some months ago. We went and sat at the bar and had some drinks and ordered off their bar menu. It was great. Went back a few weeks later for dinner. There Italian food is fantastic. We are from N.Y. and finding really good Italian food down here isn’t that easy. My wife had the lanzga and I had the clams in white sauce. Both where unbelievable. If you like clams, you know it’s not easy getting them down here. Their pastas are made right in the kitchen and fresh!

First visit here, won’t be the last. Made a reservation for after our movie. I did make a patio reservation, but the weather turned so the hostess moved us inside (before we even arrived!). Amber was so kind and helpful throughout the dinner. We were so pleased with her recommendations. We had two appetizers and shared an entree. Perfect amount of food. Apps were amazing, as was the wine. Dinner was delicious too (polenta a bit salty, so didn’t finish it). But this is not enough for us to not return for round two!

Food was sub par considering price and surrounding options, meatballs were extremely firm, lamb pasta was 7/10 but everything else was meh. Wine flights were decent so I can’t fault them for that.
