I placed an online order at 530pm, estimated time it said was 6pm. I got there at like 603pm, they said they got slammed all at once and it would be awhile. So I pulled into a space to wait for them to bring me my order. Sat there for 20 more minutes, got my food finally and drove home. Opened the boxes and the dessert pizza was black! Like marshmallow cought on fire black. Called and asked if I brought this back if they could make another. They said yes, it would be about 10 minutes. My husband waited like 10-15 minutes, then drove there. They hadn’t even started the pizza when he got there. Waited another 10ish minutes for the new pizza to be made. All in all from the time I placed my order to the time my order was finally corrected and we were able to sit down and eat it had been 2 hours. I understand restaurants get busy, but come on..do better. We will not be returning.

Why do I get a busy signal every time when trying to call for over an hour, but when I show up to order in person nobody is on the phone??? This has happened at least a HANDFUL of times in the last six months. If one was being critical, they might suspect the phone is taken off the hook when they get busy/overwhelmed. They also don’t take online orders. Pizza is good but that means nothing when you can’t order it lol

Have ordered from them a few times now. The last sandwich was wrong sauce, the chicken bites were wrong sauce. And this time they let my food sit around for 25 minutes before they got around to delivering it… Forgot about our order completely until after a hour I called to see what the hold up was and I got “oh it’s on it’s way.” That was 20 minutes ago. I live less than 5 minutes away from the place. And it still hasn’t arrived… Which tells me they didn’t even make it!

Used to be a five star review for this place. Ordered at 658pm Saturday evening was told an hr wait, didn’t receive our food till 9 pm an that’s after the person on the phone decided to curse at me an make excuses blaming the general manager. Worst customer service ever!!!! I will be in to speak with the general manager!

This is my favorite place for pizza. Their crust is awesome and their Mexican pizza is delicious. The thing I really love about this place is that it’s been consistently good for 20+ years. When we know we don’t have time to cook and just want to grab something quick we always opt for East of Chicago. It doesn’t take long, it’s always hot and fresh and we always receive outlr special requests. My husband is very picky about wanting his pepperoni on top so it gets toasted in the oven and they always accommodate this.
