The food here is average to above average. The servers normally try their best and are friendly. The thing we hate the most is the host (who might be the owner) is terrible and shows no respect to the customers. It’s like she has to go out of her way to seat us at a table. She recently had a small young man who was about 7 years old that did a much better job than she ever could. The over all rating of this establishment could be higher if you get rid of the host!

Angelo’s is a restaurant that I have wanted to go to since moving to batesburg. The service was great !!!! The food was good. My favorite dish was the bourbon salmon. I would try other appetizers next time I go because I didn’t really care for the two I had. They were not bad, just not the best either. The pizza was fantastic, and my spouse loved the shrimp alfredo. We got three desserts to go, and they were amazing also. We will definitely be back for another visit and I recommend this resturant if you want some decent/good food and not travel so far to the city.

My husband had the gyro platter and I had Florentine lasagna for dinner this evening. Both generous servings, plus salad & garlic knot. Not the best Greek or Italian we’ve enjoyed, but not the worst. It was certainly value for the price. We’ve had more expensive dinners that were not as tasty. We do not live in Batesburg-Leesville, but if we are in the area we would eat there again. The staff was friendly and the service fairly quick given the number of people eating there or picking up pizza. It should be more like 4.5, but not an option. Lots of parking.

I felt like I was too dark to eat there, so I left. Nobody treated me badly from the staff, but all eyes were on me from the guest. I was uncomfortable, so I played it off and asked for directions and got out of there. Again, the staff was good, and the setting was nice, that is why I’m giving them 5 stars.

This restaurant has a great looking menu, but have over advertised what they actually have to offer. Asked for dolmades for an appetizer, didn’t have any. Ordered Chianti wine, a bottle, didn’t have any. Went to order a sirloin steak. Didn’t have any. Can’t eat pasta, so ended up with a garden salad with a handful of cherry tomatoes cut on half, a few slivers of onion, and a boatload of romaine lettuce. Nothing else in the salad. Garlic knots are not knots at all. They are buns with a hint of garlic butter on them. Had to ask for more butter, and server brings a little dressing cup half full of melted butter for 8 rolls.

I ordered the Baked spaghetti And it was fairly good. A little on the dry side. I’ve had their stuff pepper and chopsteak which I thought were excellent! Always friendly waitresses and clean environment. Reasonable prices.
