Our first time this weekend. We shared a pound of ribs that were extremely tender. Excellent Mac & Cheese with a little kick. Four cheeses and I’ll let you ask the owner about the secret to the kick. Donna said the Mac & Cheese was the best ever. And we had Southwest Street Corn. Very flavorful.

Great food! Had a brisket sandwich, potato salad and macaroni and cheese with a peach slushy. The homemade bbq sauces are some of the best flavored sauces I’ve ever had, and paired incredible with the blackened crust on the brisket and juicy fatty edges. Both sides were incredible and the peach drink was fresh and strong. The owner was very friendly and it shows he cares about the food he makes and the experience he gives to customers. Today, after a soaking hike we stopped by Smokey Q BBQ and got some sandwiches, sides and tea. It was all fantastic! The pulled pork sandwich had great, juicy smokey meat and paired deliciously with the hot BBQ sauce, though I tried it with the mustard sauce and really liked that, too. The pulled chicken sandwich paired perfectly with the mustard sauce. We had the cole slaw and the baked beans which both were just right. The kind people plus the delicious fare will definitely bring us back!

Great experience! Delicious ribs. But my favorite part was meeting Judson, the owner, and enjoying the whole experience of the place. Such a nice view looking out over the marina, great live jazz music from talented, fun musicians, and chatting with Judson about his margarita creations (which were Delicious!). I’m excited about the new beers he will have on draft each month, especially the pumpkin beer for fall! Great experience

Nice surprise! Outdoor dining at the marina with lake views or nice indoor dining room. Live music: singer songwriters on Thursdays and jazz on Sundays! Food was great, we tried chicken wings and pulled pork sandwich, diners near us were raving the ribs. Nice choices of draft beers. Tater tots had a sweet spicy kick. It’s inside the gated Bald Ridge Marina but just tell the guard you’re going to the BBQ and he’ll welcome you in. This is minutes from Costco down Bald Ridge Marina road so I’ll be back often when I’m shopping

SO glad my marina has a great BBQ spot. I love starting my day with a hearty meal before heading out on the water! I had the rib plate with two sides- ribs were divine (fall of the bone) and the sides were delicious (and generous in portion, too). If you like heat, their spicy sauces do pack a punch! It was super affordable as well….The owner is very involved in his operation and came by to make sure I was doing alright. Super nice guy! You can arrive by boat (I believe Baldridge has courtesy docks located by the gas docks)…. Lake Lanier’s best kept secret for sure!

My group of four ordered a variety of things and the Brunswick stew was the only thing anyone liked. The pulled chicken was dry, the macaroni was bland and mealy, and the thighs made the folks who ate them sick on the way home. Disappointing, because the view was beautiful.

Absolutely the best ribs I ever tasted in my life! My boyfriend, my best friend and I were thoroughly satisfied, impressed, and delighted by the amazing customer service of the owner and staff and the deliciousness of the food! The sauces were so savory and I could tell they were house made! I really don’t understand what the most recent 1 star review id talking about. Clearly they didn’t have the Sweet and Spicy sauce! (Our favorite) Everything was hot and juicy and all of us were so satisfied! I can’t wait to come back and try the new brisket that they are going to be adding to the menu.

The best bbq place in the area! Everything is hand made, including bacon and bbq sauce. We had the most delicious ribs and pulled pork sandwich. Great beer and nice owner who made the whole experience amazing! Definitely we will be coming back to this place every time we get a chance.

Holy smokes!! After one visit, me and my partner are hooked. Great food, great vibes, and the drinks are 10/10! I highly recommend the chicken thighs and the mac. Judson and Alexis were awesome. Just one visit but I felt like a regular that has been coming here for years. Which is very possible after this experience!
