Just moved to the area and wanted to try something new and found this spot. Super delicious. Everything was hot and fresh and the staff were all super kind. My 8 year old who is incredibly picky loved their cashew chicken! Will definitely be heading back. Highly recommend.

A decent place near UDayton. There is parking in the back. The staff are very good and it seemed like a family owned business. I got the pineapple chicken which was decent. A tad bit spicy as well. The wonton soup was good but lacked flavor a bit. Overall a decent place to grab quick lunch.

Very good food with very large portions, for a very fair price. Owners are very friendly and will recommend whatever is fresh and good

The food at Ginger and Spice is great. I ordered the chicken lo mein and the vegetable spring rolls. The lo mein portion was HUGE. I thought the flavor was good but wish there were more vegetables. They serve large portions and the food is always made to order and hot. This time I decided to order takeout. I placed my order at 12:04 and the receipt said ready in 26 minutes. I arrived around 12:40 and they hadn’t even checked their online ordering system so I ended up waiting for another 10/15 minutes. I would suggest calling ahead if you are going to place a to-go order so they don’t forget about it. They did give me a free water bottle while I waited.

Vegan Experience: The ambiance of the restaurant is so lovely. It’s modern and chic with tons of seating. Unfortunately, the food was a little underwhelming. Not too much flavor on the Three Style Mushrooms with Broccoli. The mom’s tofu had a little more flavor. I would say it’s comparable to your average Chinese takeout. It would also be helpful if things on the menu were marked as vegan friendly.

Their flavor is very off and not good. Tried the Green Chicken Curry and it was sour and not creamy at all. I’ve come here before and remember thinking their Pad Thai was also off but it was not as bad as their Green Curry. It’s also a bit pricy for what you get. Green Curry was $16 (lunch time) for just the curry and rice. I recommend going to Thai 9 instead.

I visited this place for the 1st time on 8/26/2022….it is located right next to Hot Heads on Brown St. We went there to try the crab ragoon….ever since we got ragoon at Speakeasy Ramen in Springfield….my daughter wants to try EVERYONE’S ragoon now ‍♀️. The price was reasonable….you get 6 ragoons for $8.00 at Speakeasy you only get 4 ragoons for $8 BUT BUT BUT…….Speakeasy’ ragoons are sooooo much better & tastier!!!! Sorry Ginger & Spice. I was expecting a “slap yo momma” ragoon tasting experience from Ginger & Spice & only experienced a “side eye look at yo momma” experience instead. Don’t get me wrong…the food was nice and hot, prompt service but the ragoons did not for me. We also ordered Orange Chicken. Spicy (I’m not a fan of spicy foods) BUT at least it looked and tasted like chicken and NOT fried breaded bread chicken. And the food stayed in place (my stomach) and didn’t immediately evacuate my bowels! If you know then you know! All in all….I’d visit again….but I wouldn’t get the ragoons again….Speakeasy Ramen has spoiled it for me. By the way….parking is in the back!

A smaller place so maybe think about take out. Take out took 5-7 minutes. People were nice. Food was hot and good size portions. Chicken is supposed to be local sourced and had good taste.

Very impressed by this place. I’m a hardcore Asian Diner. This place is probably one of the best and the Dayton area at the moment Asian cuisine. The egg rolls are the bomb. Recommend ordering at least two orders one to eat there and one to take home.
