A small food truck that operates an old hotdog shop that you can eat in their makeshift courtyard… I shouldn’t even have to review the cheesy smokey barbacoa filled crispy chimi. But it was hot, fresh and made to order. Try a dessert too, the tables near me were raving about it.

I had heard lots of good chatter and I’m thrilled that my wife and I finally had a chance to try out the Stray Cat Chimmi Shack. The trailer is pulled up right next to the building. When you want to order food someone inside the building will take your order and you can pay for your food then.

Simply fantastic food – not only is the flavor on point, the portion sizes are huge as well for the price. They have a cutely decorated outdoor seating area and some bar stools inside. The owners are very welcoming and happy people that exude kindness. My fiancee and I have loved them ever since they were just a traveling food truck. Will definitely be back!

This is some of the best food I have ever had in Morgantown! I tried several items on the menu and all of it was amazing! The staff was super nice and helpful when we had questions. Our food came out super quick. They have their own gravel lot right next to the shack which made it super convenient as well. You could take the food to go or they had comfortable outdoor seating at picnic tables and lounge chairs.
