If you are black, your money is not welcomed there. Pizza tastes good. But its 2023… Money has no race. Their lost. Learn to handle your hate.

Best pizza in NJ. Down-to-earth place. You can usually see someone spinning the dough when you walk in. The taste always exceeds expectations. Quality ingredients (cheese, sauce, veggies, etc.) and good prices.

Had my first Hickory Pizza this past weekend and I think it’s safe to say that I have a new favorite spot. This is the NY style pizza I remember eating as a kid. The crust was especially memorable, the slightest touch of sweetness, as if you’re eating fresh baked bread. Great cheese to sauce ratio, generous with toppings.

This is a trustworthy business. I recently left a CVS bag in the shop (had gift cards for Christmas in it) and I called the next day and Hickory Pizza had put it away on the side for me to pick up. It saved my day as the bag could have easily “disappeared.” Thanks to Hickory for that!

The pizza at Hickory Tree is hands down our family favorite. Thin, chewy crust and generous toppings. We’ve been Orsini from here for years. On our last order we tried the cauliflower pizza crust and we were BLOWN AWAY! So delicious. We could not tell it was cauliflower! It has a nice crunch, chewy, and taste. I can’t stop thinking about this pizza!

The pizza does not taste good. They didn’t listen to the order request. I don’t know if they know what a well done pizza is. Should by stiff, nope it was floppy. No substance to the crust in the middle. It’s like lined paper with sauce and cheese on it. Will never go back.

Ordered for delivery, pizza is incredible (that’s why I love going here). Tonight, ordered off of their menu and did not get what was expected/listed. Buffalo chicken salad WITH red onion, green peppers and egg. None of which came on it. Naturally, I called the restaurant to ask why this was not on the salad. I was RUDELY told that, ‘we have never put any of those on our salads, it’s not our fault it’s the third party website’s fault.’ Dude, own up. Blame someone else for your mistake? Come on. Why is it on your website and you do not carry/make your items this way? Unprofessional. Did not offer to correct situation one bit, also paid extra for dressing on the side which was not with the order.

This pizza shop services a rural area sorely lacking enough diversity to support the “lingo” in the collection of poor reviews it has been given, by many youthful users as well.

Awful experience here – mostly due to customer service. The owner called me to berate me for “not hitting his minimum” which is his problem with Seamless (not my issue to keep track of since Seamless let me put through the order) and then told me he was going to cancel it. Instead, he confirmed the order so he could take my money but never delivered anything. Have rarely encountered someone so rude and truly clueless about how to operate a business in 2018. At Hickory Tree Pizza, the customer is always wrong.

The men making pizzas get very annoyed with the customers when it is busy and lack compassionate aspects. They were very rude to me as I was ordering today and he ignored me and yelled in my face to talk to one of the teenage girls. I did, and the girls were sweet, yet they could not answer all of my questions about the food. As I asked what was on the tuna salad, the girl asked the man making pizzas and he rolled his eyes. I feel bad for the employees there and I hope the young men making pizzas become more compassionate and respectful towards their customers and employees and realize that it will quickly have a positive affect on the management of their business.
