Listen. This is the best kept secret around. Our family dined here for dinner tonight. We ordered tons of food just to try a little of everything. The Philly cheesesteak was the BEST my husband has ever had. The fried mushrooms were amazing. My burger was delicious. Our daughter had the chicken sandwich but it was too generous of a portion for her to finish. The kids voted the original hot wings as their favorite.

Visiting this establishment was done on a whim. We wanted to enjoy a meal in the area that we were visiting. Our options appeared limitless, as there are several eateries in the area. Most of the dine-in choices were overcrowded and had a chaotic atmosphere. After traveling, that was the last thing we wanted.

Traveling Adventures
Love the local hidden gems over the national chains. This is the perfect spot for a simple lunch and dinner that’s affordable. Everything was fresh, the burger had a great flavor, love that they use burger pickles and offer grilled onions in addition to raw onions. The fries were perfect, a little crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Love that they are not salted, that is a bonus! Huge servings. Keep up the great work!

The food was good. I had the pretzel bites. The bites were a sweet bread and the beer cheese was tasty too. Cajun fries were season and cooked well and tasted great. The cheese burger was pretty good wish it was seasoned a little but it was cooked well and tasted good. I liked that the bun was lightly toasted. I was hoping for a cold beer to go with my meal but I guess this is a dry restaurant for now, I hope they are able to get a beer and liquor license. I will return to try the wings next time.

Food was pretty good! Burgers are big,only complaint is my burger wasn’t done enough. Fried mushrooms were delicious. Cajun fries were good. Pretzel bites could have been better but the beer cheese was good! We bought a lot of food….family said chicken tenders were good. Chicken sandwich was good.

I’ve had this burger a handful of times now and each time it continues to climb my list of best burgers. I love a crazy burger with a slew of wild toppings, but the best burgers are the ones that go back to the basics, and do the basics properly. You won’t find a long list of toppings here, but Dad’s does simple burgers very well. If you love a classic, backyard style burger, then you’ll love Dad’s.

This place is a hidden gem. They’re not very busy which makes for quick customer service. Dad’s always delivers the best wings in Dayton. Their mango habanero sauce is really good. Onion rings are a bit extra greasy but overall good. We will be expanding on the appetizers soon but it’s hard to resist the wings…

Solid food! Very fresh, fast and tasty! My wife and I had wings, burgers, mushrooms, and Cajun fries. Burger could of got to a 5 star with some seasoning! Atmosphere is lacking, need music or tvs or something! Would come back lunch or get it to go, not so much a date night!
