The food was wonderful. But the female server was less than something to be desired. She acted as if having to wait on us was a hassel. I have been eating at Tangs Garden since I was 14. It was my first Chinese food. I have always loved the food. However having that kind of service will make me think twice about going. This was a Birthday dinner for my gbaby. Nothing big. 5 adults. We went based on MY recommendation. I felt embarrassed, as I was not the only one who noticed her disposition. I was bringing them potential new customer as they ALL had never been before.

Tang’s Garden is amazing! They have the very very best chicken mei fun I’ve ever eaten! I’ve LOVED everything I’ve tried here. I feel like they cook from the heart with love and the service is always wonderful. I also feel comfortable and safe to come in and eat by myself, and I usually don’t do that anywhere. Tang’s became my new favorite place to eat the very first time I came here. Absolutely wonderful! I can’t say enough great things about them. I highly recommend dining here!

Authentic Chinese food. This is not a buffet. The service here is exceptional. Your individual order is made fresh and the courses are delivered to the table much quicker than expected. By far, one of the best places to eat in Rome.

Ordered for pick up. Not sure how the dine is service is. The ordering process was simple and easy. The food however, was not good at all! I’m very disappointed because I looked at the ratings and the reviews before I ordered and man was I disappointed. If you actually eat Chinese food and are familiar with the dishes don’t come here – because the taste is just not there.

I didn’t even make it to the food. The lady up front was sooo RUDE! I placed my order with a guy and then moved over to the counter where the lady was to pay. The amount was more than I expected so I asked her if she could break it down (The place was totally empty by the way). She started yelling the prices for each item and slashing a line under each price. I stood there for a second totally taken off guard and then asked her if she had an attitude? She said yes, so I told her she could cancel my order then. She started yelling something at me, so I told her she was a B1+€h and started to leave. She continued to yell (who knows what) at me as I walked out the door!

Just enjoyed a great dinner last evening at Tang’s with my three most favorite people in the world!! We had pepper steak, sweet and sour pork, broccoli chicken, sizzling rice soup, beef cho cho, and as always, THE best white rice! Oh, and also some egg rolls. Everything was delicious and the staff was, and has always been, nothing but kind and most gracious. Remember my very first visit way back in 1989. Loved it then AND now!! Thanks, Tang’s Garden!!

The staff is friendly and polite. The food is amazing! Hands down best orange chicken. You can tell that they make the sauces from scratch…and it’s devine. This is perhaps some of the best food you can get in Rome.

Was my favorite place to eat. We went there tonight, I ordered my favorite, four seasons. My first bite was a mushroom and a piece of pork. Now let me explain, this pork was not just ruined, it was rotton, it tasted like two day old road kill in Georgia, on a hot dry July day. Of course i complained to the waitress. She took the plate away asking did I want another. Well if the first one was that bad rotten, why should the next be different. If they served it that rotton the first time , do they know the difference. I refused. As I was leaving the waitress demanded I pay for a bowl of uneaten soup. In which I told her to eat it and pay for it her self. I said that what she had served me was rotten meat and tasted like a dead dog. She quickly assured me it wasn’t dog. As I threatened her with the health department she again quickly responded no no no. All this final conversation seemed

We’ve enjoyed Gondolier for years but they have stepped it up a notch at the new location! Great food, huge portions and affordable. Very fresh tasting!

Tang’s isn’t in a shopping center, it is in a stand alone building not by a strip mall or anything so I don’t know where the previous reviewer went.
