Family Owned and Operated Since 1993
Our founders are husband and wife Bob and Kristen who have been building local businesses in the Bay Area for over 50 years. It was in 1993 they decided to open their first restaurant, and Ascona Pizza Company was born.
We hand-make our dough daily, using our secret family recipe, and every ingredient we use is the highest quality available.
We want to provide our customers with the best pizza and customer service, where our staff knows your family, as well as your favorite pizza.

First time here after coming with my sister and her friends since they come all the time and now I know why. Loved the pizza and especially the wings.

Lots of different food choices. Listed as pizzeria and their pizza’s really good, but lots of other things if you don’t want pizza. They have milkshakes too.

Employee, “Kelly” at least that’s what he said his name was. I’d really like to talk to the owners. He refused me service and he was very rude and swearing to the customer next to me. I asked him why he was getting mad for doing his job and that’s when he refused me service.

My mom and I eat here often when I visit her. The stars are specifically for the pizza, that we both really enjoy. The environment is ok, although on warm days sitting outside is very nice. This is the best pizza we have found in the Danville area.

Very good pizza but very expensive. $29 for a small pepperoni. Prices have gone up so I will find another place to buy my pizza.

Pizza chefs are artists. The dough is their canvas, and the sauce is their sky. They uses pepperoni or onions as the highlights. And finally, the oven of as the thin layer of glazing fluid that makes the piece shine. Artists receive almost identical trainings but most are doomed to fail. It’s the details in the works that truly determines their success. I tried to appreciate the work, but Ascona is a failed artist; every single item is missing some crucial detail. From a plate of wings that are cold near the bone to a pizza that lacks flavors. There is always something missing. Chefs here are youthful, full of energy but lacking in experience. The whole restaurant is filled with kind workers and gives off a very nostalgic atmosphere that is bound to draw families in. While the service is always accommodating, it doesn’t change the fact that the food here is inadequate.

I’ve always loved this place. Great pizza, great service, friendly employees. The only sad point is that I live 100 miles away, so the only time I get to visit this place is when I visit my kids.

A 12-inch cheese pizza costs over $23??? Rip-off. Just another ridiculous Bay Area restaurant that lost my business before they even got it. Just imagine all themorons who have gotten food from this place.

Found out his name is John. I called and left a message for the owner to call me last week and never heard back. I’m thinking they didn’t give owners my message…
