Hands Down best cuban Food is in South Miami and Doral Area..staying true with affordable prices and traditional cuban food! I love the atmosphere and service.. food was OMG! Very affordable..love the pick up window.. Lately alot restaurants been giving cuban food a bad name with its New Modern Expensive Fusion Cuban style of food… Not this place…Authentic and real! Worth the drive form fort lauderdale

Food was great , customer service was horrible, they think I don’t speak the language so they treat you bad , they get away with because of the volume of customers, parking is horrible. Food was good tho.

Growing up in Miami, this has always been one of my favorite Cuban spots for meals at any time. From yummy buttered pan cubano with café con leche to my go to bistec empanizado with congri and tostones, I’m never disappointed. Love the atmosphere and if you want a true authentic Cuban vibe, this is your spot!

Amazing food every time. But when I ask a simple question “in English” and it takes you 5 minutes to go find someone that can understand what I’m saying…that’s an issue.

First time that I’ve been there. I got one of the favorites, vaca frita. It was pretty dry and so was our other dishes. Is Cuban food supposed to be dry? Maybe it was just this restaurant. Anyway I used ketchup to power my way through the meal.

Was a bit disappointed with the Cuban Sandwich, Especial. Only a couple of slices of meat and a lot of bread. The Cuban coffee was bitter and low on sugar, surprisingly. The waitress was in a bad mood, I assumed. This is coming from someone who has eaten there many times. Let’s hope it was a fluke.

Keeping it Simple at the La Carretta, alway good, the Pan con Bistec! It’s a classic and must… if you haven’t tried it.

My family and I love this place whenever we want to eat Cuban / Caribbean style! Their black beans, café con leche, breakfast, lunch and dinner are fully recommended!
