We had a great experience here with the food, the service, and the atmosphere! We each got pulled chicken sandwiches (we’re from the north, I’m sorry) and tried each of the three available BBQ sauces. Sweet and Spicy was our favorite. My wife got the green beans and I got the corn on the cob. The South does green beans different, so from our skewed point of view, they were just ok. The corn on the cob however, may have been made out of taffy. I never got to swallow any because it all stuck to my teeth. Minus the sides, the food was excellent and we will definitely go back and try more meats and obviously some different sides.

Delicious! Special Ops sandwich is legit, has multiple meats on it. Definitely worth it. The chopped chicken sandwich is good too. It’s chopped a lot into cubes so it’s hard to keep it all in the bun so get a fork to eat the bits that fall out. Prices are good too. For what you get for price is better than some local BBQ places around. The potatoes are smoked and huge. Baked beans and green beans are excellent as well. The sauces are good, I surprisingly really liked the Apple BBQ sauce. The building is very nice, clean, and plenty of seats. Must try in Jonesboro!

Get you a brisket sandwich and some burnt ends and beans you cannot go wrong. Amazing food located just down the road from Arkansas State University. This place is a must have when in town!

Great quality smoked meat. Generous portions, can be a tad pricey. Extremely consistent every visit. I highly recommend Blue Ember Smokehouse.

Food is all good. Brisket was tasty, pork had a nice smoky flavor and the baked beans had some huge pieces of meat mixed in. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

This is a really beautiful restaurant! All of the employees were really nice/helpful. My favorites were the ribs and the pineapple sausage. The ribs were really tender and the flavor of the pineapple sausage was top tier. I was a little disappointed because they were out of chicken. The baked beans were good; however, the macaroni wasn’t good at all. Don’t pay attention to the reviews that said it was expensive. Our two meals together was about $32 in all. I can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu!

Visited this new barbecue restaurant in town for dinner and placed an order to go. We have tried most of the meats and sides on the menu but not all of them. All of the food was very good and they prep the meat by slicing or chopping right in front of you and they package all of the sides right in front of you as well. Try the Special Ops for a taste of nearly every type of meat. I also like the fact they ask you if you want lean or moist brisket.

Some of the best meat smoked meat around. The rib meat fell right off the bone, and the brisket had an indescribable smokiness to it. The sausage was also very good. I could eat their smoked beans ALL DAY. The one thing I would have liked is the option to have my bread toasted. The bread I ate was very soft. Otherwise, the meal was stupendous!
