Wow! This is one of the best restaurants in Athens! Food and staff are superior, and restaurant is always clean. Let me start by saying the owners care about their business. Chips, salsa, queso, and other appetizers taste great and fresh. Every meal I have tried is hot, fresh, and seasoned well. Each wait staff is friendly and professional. If you haven’t tried this Mexican restaurant, you are missing out.

BYOB and they have nice clean glassware for it. Their salsa is great, and their chips. Service was friendly, attentive and the food was wonderful. Also, great queso which does not set to a hard mass as it cools (that is a nice change from normal)

Lived in Henderson county over 30 years and hands down this is by far the best Mexican restaurant we have! All their food has flavor! Not the bland hot sauce and fajitas that Ochas or El San Louis offers. Seriously people if you can make it during the weekday please try this place. You will not regret it!

The food is great every time I go, delicious and comes out quickly. The servers seem like maybe they’ve been kidnapped and forced to work there, and they’re not too happy about it, but they still get the job done. So treat them extra kindly and tip well. The salsa is delicious, as well.
