Crackerbox restaurant Menu – Fort Myers, FL

Type : Restaurant

Location : Fort Myers, FL

As you know Our area has been hit with a major hurricane. Sanibel Ft Myers Beach Matlachee and other barriers Island are gone as well damage to the Iona area Cracker box was 10 to 11 feer underwater so the window blew in and we had over 6ft of rushing water inside. Everything is lost. All refrigerator grills chairs menus napkins to food and drinks. Unfortunately the restaurant being 60 years old no insurance company would touch us. So No insurance. We are hoping to reopen but that would be up to the community and our customers. After cleaning up this huge nightmare we are pulling out our Smoker and seating up outside for takeout. Will be doing several backyard events if possible Watch for updates. To Donate go to Facebook page Cracker box.

Nice mom and pop restaurant. Food is cooked to order. The live music was a plus, and the owner gave us a lot of history in the little restaurant. We noticed there were no cars on the parking lot and thought they were closed. I’m glad that we decided to check them out! Just remember to bring cash!

Was skeptical, but excellent food. Glad it was not a seafood only with just a salad option place. The burger was cooked perfectly. Loved the hush puppies with peppers and fried green tomatoes. My friend had the crab cakes and loved them. Good service and entertainment also.

It’s great, but it’s their way and that’s that. Experiences vary from talking about it for two days or complaining about it for two days. Either way, it’s not Burger King and it ain’t your way. I have mixed feelings, but when it’s good, it’s good enough to go back after a not so good experience. Uniquely old Florida experience that can’t be found many places anymore. Try it. You’ll have an experience no matter what.

Been living in the area for over 20 years and finally tried this place. Nothing fancy about the decor, food was good and price reasonable. Band took over an hour to set up and do sound checks so we never got to hear them. Probably will go back at some point.

This is a small, cute family owned restaurant that offers excellent food. We ordered the fish and chips (swale) comes with two side $12.99 and the crab cake appetizer. (3 huge cakes). The portions were large and we both loved it! We did take out for dinner and I noticed the restaurant was empty. It seems covid has impacted their business as they are near the beach and tourist areas. I will go back again. Excellent meal!

The food was very good . Happened to have gone on a night that they had live music and we enjoyed it. We were leery about going because the place was small. Ended up to be a nice experience. It is a family-owned restaurant and the family this very nice. it was one of the first restaurants in the area and has some neat history behind it. Important to know it is cash only and also not fast food. Each meal is prepared once you order it, not a fast production line.

Really cool little restaurant. The food, crab cakes in particular, is awesome. Live music a lot of nights. Great atmosphere. Definitely old Fort Meyers style. Highly recommend.

Small family run roadside cash only eatery featuring home cooked appetizers, salads, burgers and a few plated entrees. Service was slow and a little forgetful as we had to ask three times to get a beer and the wrong sides were served. Food as served was OK but not great with overcooked burgers, hush puppies and potatoes on the entrees. A limited choice of non-craft beers and a small wine list is offered.

Pleasant little family owned establishment! The owner even came out to check on us and make sure that we were enjoying our dinner! Nothing flashy or fancy but felt right at home!
