The owner and chef is originally from Naples Italy, his family came for the American dream 30 years ago. After running successful pizzerias for many years in NJ we decided to take the leap of faith and come out to NC! We now have 3 beautiful children and couldn’t be happier with the relationships we’ve made through so many wonderful customers! Castucci’s was amazing, the food the people every last bit. Our waitress was so kind and accommodating, the food was phenomenal. We had a horrible experience at the first restraunt Rusty Hook that we attempted to go to prior and this place truly saved the day and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to make our 3 year old feel so special. This will be a new favorite spot !!! FYI my three year old say try the meatballs 😉 my porkchop was AMAZING, this as down home as you get it felt like I was at family’s home having a meal made from scratch thank you Castucci. Ps. My daughter is showing everyone how to fist bump & jellyfish !!

We’ve been coming here for several years when we visit our friends in Southport. The food is fantastic. We had the calamari appetizer (very good) and (4) entrees: chicken Marsala (my wife’s fav -picture below), eggplant parm (always good) and two specials: the grouper over risotto and the beef short rib (pictured)over mashed potatoes. I’d recommend them all. You won’t be able to finish your dinner so you can enjoy it the next day as well. They also have a pizza place across the parking lot which we didn’t try but I’ve heard is really good!!

Highly recommend this delightful gem. Truly authentic Italian Food in huge portions and full of flavor. Service was wonderfully friendly and attentive. A wide-array of dishes and nice drink options. I had the Parmesan Crusted Grouper Special which was mouth-wateringly delicious. Flakey white meat, moist throughout with a crust of Parmesan and Romano cheeses perfect balance of herbs over a creamy risotto…WOW. Others had the Chicken Picatta, Eggplant Rollattini, Shrimp Francaise, and Chicken Saltimbocca Special. EVERY DISH IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. BE SURE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS AS LICALS TRULY KNOW OF THE CULINARY DELIGHT AND IT CAN FILL QUICKLY. I will definately have this as a regular event.

Oh YUM!!! This place is the best for Italian food and assorted seafood dishes. Warm bread and oil and the broth from the mussels appetizer was delicious for dipping! Patrick was our server and was so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this place!

I cannot give this restaurant enough praise. The food is fantastic, the portions are HUGE, the staff are friendly, and the aesthetic is super cozy and laid back. The worst part about the nature experience is not being able to decide what to order because everything always tastes wonderful! Our personal favorites are the Veal Parmesan and the Gnocchi Napoli. The gnocchi especially has so much flavor that will give your taste buds a wake up call. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation

I cannot say enough about how amazing this restaurant is. Owners and employees are always friendly. The food is TOP TIER, they’re easily the best Italian food within an hour radius. That’s right, better than any Italian place in Wilmington. You can’t go wrong with any dish on their menu but their specials are always extra enticing. Definitely get the rice balls if available. If you want to eat here, definitely make a reservation for the best experience.

Absolutely phenomenal!! Kudos to everyone, the kitchen and all the staff! Extra thanks for the gnocchi and the joke! Lol! Every bite was superb! You cannot go wrong with the specials! I had the crab stuffed flounder! It was like a party in my mouth with every morsel! My husband had the veal parmigiana and thoroughly enjoyed it! Can’t wait to go back! I can’t say enough amazing things about this restaurant! It is the Best Italian Restaurant in the Oak Island/Southport NC area! If you’re looking for an Authentic Italian restaurant, look no further! Make a reservation days ahead because it’s a local favorite and they stay packed! Our favorite dishes are the Rice Balls, Meatballs, Fried Mozzarella, Lasagna, Spaghetti Bolognese, Chicken Alfredo, Tiramisu, Limoncello Cake, and Creme Brulee! The staff is wonderful and have become like family! We will forever be grateful for their love and friendship of our parents before they passed since we live out of state and could only visit a few times a year. They even bought my father-in-law his own coffee cup with his name on it for him to use every time he ate there.
