This is probably the best decorated Mexican restaurant I’ve ever encountered this side of the border. And the food is on point! We had a steak nachos. Extremely delicious. Great cuts of meat with lots of fresh veggies, and The cheese sauce has just a little slight bite to it which makes it interesting. The service was a little slow but we got there at a off-peak time So it was slow throughout the whole restaurant. If you’ve ever done serving before you know you can get busy doing back of house stuff and forget you got that one customer that needs a refill and a drink. So we’re not gonna ding them on that today. Lots of fun choices oh and they hand make their own chips which are delightful. Will come again.

I ordered the lunch 5 special with a mango margarita 12 ounce. My order came out fresh and hot. It was a beef enchilada with rice and refried beans. My server was nice and prompt on everything. I think that a mango margarita should not be more than the other margaritas.

This was the most surpassing Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. I love Mexican cuisine, and this is among my top 5. Not only is there plenty of flavor, but they will also add or remove anything with all of their dishes. Also, there is ALWAYS more than enough food. The portion sizes will feed you for days if you can not finish your meal.

We had a delicious dinner of Jose Jalapeño’s Fajitas for two and are server was great (even sharing his favorite way of reheating chips.) We are not light eaters but only made it halfway through the food. Looking forward to round two out of the leftovers! The mixture of meats and vegetables was perfect!

Went here last night a half hour before closing after being at the hospital for 14 hours with my mom having a brain tumor removed and finding out she has aggressive cancer. Staff had no idea yet made our night so much better by letting us stay a half hour passed closing and not rushing us at all, making sure we had our margaritas which really hit the spot Super grateful and will come back. I absolutely love this place. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, and the decor is great. Good atmosphere with Spanish-language TV playing, a bar, and booth and table options. The menu offers a good selection of dishes, and the waiter was great.

I love their chicken chimichangas and their chips and salsa! Great NEW location in SW Columbia. Atmosphere is always great! Beans and rice are also good! My friends say the alcoholic beverages are great too! I just get the water or soda.

Eager to take your order, they are kind, however if you prefer black beans you need to ask. They do have them however, they assume you like refried by default. They do have corn tortillas also. Their chips are hot, food served hot and fresh, tacos, fajitas etc. the salsa is amazing and I don’t even care for salsa usually. You need to try their churros. Wait time is usually around 12 min from the times I have been in. I would say pretty fast.

We tried Jose Jalepenos for the first time, and ended up back there 2 more times that week. The food is so insanely good and fresh! The servers are all very friendly and attentive. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone, including the kids. They have daily lunch and drink specials as well.
