Average bar food. Loaded fries had too much cheese on them, but better than not having enough. Wrap was good. Service was ok. Only one person running the bar and restaurant, so it was tough at times to get her attention.

I had the BBQ Pork Burger and fries. Hands down the BEST BURGER in town, or in the Stateline area. Can’t wait to visit this pub again. $1 can beers is a huge plus!!

I was out for a drive with my Mom along the Rock River when we drove through Rockton. We saw the sign and it looked like a cool place to stop for some lunch and a drink. We were pleased to discover it was half price burger day. The bartender was a sweetheart and the food was Amazing. Did I mention 1dollar Miller light in a can all day every day? I would definitely recommend stopping in if your in the area. Loved it…

I ordered a salad. The waitress came back and advised they were out of lettuce at that time. No biggie, so I ordered something different. Someone from the kitchen came to our table to apologize again for the inconvenience and advised he had just enough lettuce for a side salad, no charge. I thought that was very nice and was appreciated. I only come to Rockton every once in awhile with a friend. I will come back.

Had the AYCE butterfly shrimp tonight and it was by far the best shrimp I’ve had in years. Crispy light batter with a clean non greasy taste. Very impressed. Cook was a friendly guy as well. Waitress was very responsive and took care of all our request. Thank you Rockton Inn for a very nice casual dining experience. We’ll definitely be back.

I visited the Rockton Inn for lunch with a business guest visiting from Germany. It was a late lunch and my guest was departing later in the day so we didn’t want to get too stuffed. Nonetheless, I ordered the loaded waffle fries which consisted of an order of waffle fries smothered in cheese, beef, onions, tomatoes and drizzled with sour cream. While the dish is advertised as an appetizer, it was definitely a full fledged meal for me. It probably wasn’t the healthiest dish in the world but it sure did taste great! We had great service as well and my guest also enjoyed his meal. I hope I get to visit again sometime in the future.
