Now this was the real West Virginia experience a New Jersey guy was looking for! A cozy spot where all the locals go and welcome you as they interact with some friendly talk. Great friendly service and fantastic food! I had the Chicken fried steak with eggs and potatoes and a side of a flap Jack which was the size of the plate! Highly recommend if ever in West Virginia near Morgantown and you want that local experience!

Looked to be busy upon arrival; however, there was no wait. The fact that they were busy was a good sign. I took it as the food was going to be great and I was not disappointed! Food was delicious! Atmosphere was great. the service was top notch and the price was very affordable! We will definitely be back.

Best place to get a homestyle breakfast around. Great food and service. Fair prices (especially compared to other similar restaurants in the Morgantown area), and good portions. I usually get the chicken fried steak and eggs, with biscuits.

This place has the best breakfast hands down. Everything is homemade and you can definitely tell by the menu. It’s a small hole in the wall restaurant and the menu is limited but that’s what makes it so great because you’re getting the absolute best homemade food. The prices is amazing and the staff is nice.

A great place that I and two friends searched for and finally found after exploring many different breakfast places for a couple years. Absolutely the best grandma made sausage gravy that I smother on my delicious breakfast. I’m in love with the Chicken fried steak, where the portion is humongous and the very crispy crunchy battering stays that way till the last bite, even smothered in gravy. Fantastic crew, “Morgan” and everyone are very nice. Sorry, but when I receive my breakfast, I’m to excited to remember to post a picture before I devour it and clean the plate. 10 or more.

Fast, friendly service, good food and plenty of it. Country fried steak and potatoes and eggs were on point, and the German chocolate cake was like Mom used to make. With drinks and everything, my teenage son and I filled up for about forty bucks with tip. That might sound like a lot, but we ate a lot of food, and we each had two different drinks. You could definitely tell that it’s a local favorite.

You want a killer breakfast or lunch? This is the place. awesome little diner down in Granville that always has great specials, super friendly service, awesome portions, and good people enjoying good food. You have to have the deep fried French toast or the hot roast beef sandwich at least once. Both are “smack your grandma” good!

While visiting Morgantown I wanted to try this restaurant and I am glad that I did. I had the Western Omelet with home fried potatoes and toast. I loved it. the potatoes were crispy and the omelet was great. I recommend Grandma’s, and will be back often!
