I recently moved into town and wanted to try all the restaurants here and so far this is my favorite place. I’m a bit of a stickler with my food from years of fine dining and this place hits the spot. Everything has plenty of flavor, it’s made fresh and the service in immaculate.

I recently costed this restaurant for lunch with my wife. I have lived locally in this area for over 2 years and this is my first visiting my sisters place. It seemed like your typical bar with you typical bar food, place was kinda cozy without feeling cramped waitress was very helpful and polite. I ordered a Escobar burger with consist of Pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, avocado spread, lettuce, tomato & onion with Southwest sauce. I opted out of the avocado since it wasn’t my thing but the burger itself was rather good the fries no so much tasted like seasoned fries from your local Walmart. But the burger was good enough tonight elicit a another visit from me overall 3/5 stars

We were looking for a new place to go today for lunch and was so pleasantly surprised by this place! We had the bacon cheese fries for an appetizer and I ordered the steak sandwich for lunch. Both were great! My son ordered the BLT and they did not skimp on the bacon. My daughters mini corn dogs were over cooked but the waitress immediately removed them from our bill. If you are from Iowa you only what “bar ranch” is and My Sister’s Place has great bar ranch! Menu isn’t big but the atmosphere is fun and we enjoyed the selection of family games to play. Looking forward to our next trip out.

Don’t make a snap decision by what it looks like on the outside! Inside the staff is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is a total trip! Think fun dive bar meets secret clubhouse! Loved it! Total hidden gem!

The wife and I had heard about the updates so decided to stop in for lunch. Do not be scared away based on the location. It is a small place, but they’ve made good use of the space. The decor is fun and there is a good selection on the menu. We split some cheese curds and I had the tenderloin with the cajun fries. The fries were awesome and the dipping sauce was good, although I preferred just some regular ranch. Service was a little bit slow so make sure you have plenty of time. The servers were not wearing masks, but at the time they had both the front and back doors open with a good cross breeze.

I’ve visited Sister’s many times and I have to admit that with the new owner you can tell they care more about the business rather than getting their drink on. Keep up the good work the place looks great.

The fries and fried pickles were quite good, and they had Shiner Bock on tap. We enjoyed playing darts and pool, although neither was in good condition. My steak melt’s “texas toast” was normal sandwich bread, and couldn’t hold the heavy contents. My wife’s salad was so sad she ate about 10% of it. Not for vegetarians.

My first visit. I had the Cowboy Burger with fries. I wasn’t extremely impressed, but I will go back sometime to try another meal.

I’ve visited this location multiple times and have never walked out disappointed. It’s a cozy atmosphere. I drive 30 minutes to this bar/restaurant for their Chicken wings and boneless wings. Their dry rub is so so good! 5 stars!
