I have finally found the best Cafe Rio location out there. I’ve been here 5 times now and every single time has been a great experience. It’s nice not having to wait in line because of the Kiosks that work exactly like it does online. Each time I’ve been here, my order was correct and made with care. The burrito I ordered today was the best Cafe Rio burrito I’ve had with the perfect ratio of sauce, meat, tortilla and rice. My wife had a quesadilla and it had the right amount of cheese and meat and sauce. It also looked amazing as you can tell in the picture. Overall, this is the best location I’ve been to and while other locations are consistently lowering in quality and service, this location continually provides great quality food. Kudos to the managers and staff of this location!

I should’ve read the reviews before ordering here. I ordered take out online and went to the drive thru to pick up my order (like Taco Bell, Chipotle, Costa Vida, McDonald’s and many others) and was told in a very snooty way to pick up my food inside next time.

There was ~1/2C. of black slimy cilantro on the top of my salad. I tried to take it off. Pieces of it disintegrated in my fingers.

First time ordering online. Arrive, food was hot, but completely wrong. There was no meat in any of the pork burritos. My steak burritos wasn’t even there. As you can see from the pictures, the amount of lettuce and picco is a so small that’s it irrelevant. The redeeming quality was that they do re-do my order. This would have been less than a 1 star had I arrived home to discover all of this.

The new Kiosk ordering setup made the Cafe Rio experience much nicer for us. The old cafeteria style line was nice to choose your own toppings but the kiosks work even better. They still yell out the little cheers in the back when specific orders come through. Manager was super and Sabrina in the lobby was stupendous. I highly recommend the fire grilles chicken and that you visit this place.

I don’t usually write reviews but I was really disappointed with this location. First of all, I ordered on the mobile app and went through the drive through to pick it up and they told me to come inside and get it. Luckily the line wasn’t long but if I had been waiting in the drive through and they had me come inside I would’ve been really annoyed. It wasn’t a big deal so i didn’t say anything. I got my salad and went home. The lettuce in my salad was barely cut and I found the entire bottom of the lettuce and a whole cilantro stem. I picked it out and kept eating and then when I got to the tortilla it was so dry it just broke apart and I noticed it had melted cheese on it which makes me think they were going to use the tortilla for something else and just took it apart and used it for my salad. I’ve been to cafe Rio enough to know there isn’t melted cheese on the tortilla. Super disappointing.

I’ve seen lots of nachos in my life and this set of chips, sweet pork, pico salsa, beans, guac, and whatever else they put in this masterpiece was out of this world.

Had not ate at a cafe Rio for years. And today was my worst ever experience with the chain. They had these stupid kiosks to order with that were difficult to use. Very blocked off from the kitchen and all employees. It felt so cold and impersonal. Will 100% not come pack to the lone peak location!! Get back to your roots! Somebody thought this would be cool and efficient and they have ruined the experience.

Got a salad here. Started eating it and found dead gnats in it. Not just on one piece of lettuce but after I noticed the first one I looked through the salad and they were all through out. Called the store to let them know, they transferred me to a corporate office to make a claim. The lady was rude and told me I had to have the address. I told her I wasn’t given a receipt or utensils so didn’t have the address of the store but was sure it was cedar hills and it had just opened. She told me there was no such place and acted annoyed I couldn’t provide a real address and tried to convince me it was cedar city and that I was confused. She asked if I had notified someone while I was at the store and I told her no because I got it as take out and didn’t notice it until I got home to eat it. I had called the store and they referred me to her. She gave me a PIN number and said someone would contact me in three days and asked if I could prove my allegation. umm… you gave me a salad with dead bugs in it and instead of being kind or apologetic I was treated like I was at fault. I wouldn’t recommend… honest mistakes happen but they should be kind and at least act sorry for contaminated food. So gross!!!

I hate doing this, but Cafe Rio used to be a serious fave (like visit from out of state and wait through a mile of crowds) to get my food. It’s time to level up, what happened? Your Cedar Hills location is struggling BIG TIME. Costa Vida is across the street and consistently has 10+ cars in their drive through. Cafe Rio? 1 car wait. Yet the time it took me to get my food with 1 single car in front of me… 25 minutes. I could have made it through that Costa line 2X. They will put you out of business. Fix whatever is going on and level up. 25 min per order is insane.
