This one is an old standard for me. Great food and good service. I always get the sweet pork salad with an extra tortilla. It’s a free hack but you can turn this combo into two full size burritos. One for eating and one for the road. This particular location was clean and service was good. The food was fresh, tasty, and on par with the CR standard.

Horrible experience first of all my sister had almost been done with her meal and then she told me she found a bug in her meal and it appeared to be a small cockroach. A small bug in the meal and not saying the rice was very hard and the meals were both very small considering they were $17 each

I love Cafe Rio! Unfortunately, they’ve gotten all three of my door dash orders wrong – wrong meat on one, left off cheese on another, etc. I called ahead today to get assurance that they could get my order right, and the customer service person at corporate says she can call to ask them to double check, but that any issues have to go through door dash. I explained there was no issue with door dash, that THEY hadn’t left off the cheese or used the wrong sauce! She would not budge about Cafe Rio’s policy, again blaming Door Dash for my food being prepared wrong. I guess I’ll order Pad Thai for lunch. Sigh…

Despite having a “vegetarian protein” option on their menu, this place is not at all vegetarian friendly. I asked for the vegetarian enchiladas, they asked me if I wanted cheese in them, I said yes, and that’s ALL they put in them. So this place’s idea of “vegetarian protein” is… cheese? And if I had said “no thanks” to the cheese I would have gotten an empty tortilla??? Pretty weird that this place has pictures of fresh vegetables on their interior walls but has no idea what to do with actual vegetables. I was also informed by one of the line preps that only the Mild salsa is vegetarian friendly; the others have chicken bits in them. Kudos to that worker for the heads-up on an extremely weird situation. A disappointing experience culminating in some truly bland and overpriced food. The horchata was alright at least. Honestly, learn how to make fajitas or hongos. This is probably the worst “Mexican cuisine” I’ve had in the area.

I ordered on GrubHub first and although my food was 2 hrs late it was tasty but pricey so I figured I’d come inside and see if priced less expensive and it was. Whoever sets the price 25% higher for Grubhub is just greedy and ridiculous.

Had a job out of town, decided stop here by suggestion of my barista in Lacey. First off, everything is locally sourced and made in house (unheard of these days) the tortillas were obviously fresh as well as all the veggies. The meat was TO DIE FOR, the chicken & pork were both very juices and flavorful, not salty. I will absolutely be making this a regular place any time I am in the area 1010 recommend. The price is very reasonable all things considered and the staff was pleasant to deal with. One thing to note is that it is “subway style” where you go down the line so I would put a little foresight in place to get your desired outcome, luckily wasn’t busy when I was there for my first time. Will be back as soon as I can!

Very good quick bite. Seasoned well. Fresh ingredients. Homemade flour tortillas made right in front of you. Not expensive. We love this place.

I love Cafe Rio but the staff here are awful to deal with. It’s hard to communicate with staff members that are consistently high off the charts. From mixed up orders, forgetting what goes on menu items, sass from employees, sloppy food prep areas, hot sauce and silverware out of stock, to sometimes encountering employees that are almost incoherent and can’t respond. Please cafe Rio, save this location.

Eat at your own risk. It was my first time there and it was horrible. The bathrooms were right by the ordering line and it reeked of diarrhea. Bathrooms were horrendous. We go to pay for our food to go and only ordered 3 things came out to 50$ and by the time we got home (5 mins away) our food was super soggy and fell apart. I could only stomach a few bites everything was drenched in an overwhelming amount of salt. My husband couldn’t each much either and our stomachs have been super upset since. I have learned my lesson.

So good, better than Puerto Vallarta or Aztec as their food is really authentic. Also freaking good. I just wish they had carne asada fries
