This place is great! The food is delicious, it’s priced reasonably, the staff is friendly, and the place is clean! It’s more on the Americanized version of Mexican food in that they offer deep fried burritos with cheddar cheese vs “authentic home style Mexican food from Mexico” while staying far away from the Taco Bell range of things. I’d still consider it comfort food. The stuff they make is really good and their Party Platters are awesome for sampling a bunch of stuff at once (part of their catering menu). I highly recommend this place, we’ve recently started going more often.

Excellent Customer Service. The staff were friendly, spoke directly to us, were not in a rush. It’s the best customer service I’ve had in ages. I was not crazy about the taste of the food I ordered (machaca chimichanga) but the portions were generous and looked appetizing. I’ll definitely try something else next time. I especially appreciated the use of real plates and silverware. The dining room was clean and neat.

The sheer excitement of not driving all the way to South Phoenix for a Pollo Fundido (chimichanga) is what has brought utter joy and great anticipation to have Someburros apart of our community here in Goodyear!! I finally had the privilege to dine in and what an absolute treat it was. The place was not busy on a Thursday for lunch much to my delight. We were greeted kindly and promptly by friendly smiles all around. You walk up to the counter to place your order. I was ready with an appetite and i already knew I would be getting my all time favorite the Pollo Fundido, a Mexican Pizza and a chorizo, egg and potato burrito. The Pollo Fundido did not disappoint as always! The shredded chicken was flavorful and tender! The tortilla, crispy, flaky and topped with the perfect amount of jalapeño cream cheese. The rice was fluffy and seasoned to perfection. I was in Heaven for a bit with every bite! The Mexican Pizza with shredded beef, green chilies and cheese layered over a crispy tortilla (chefs kiss). An added bonus are the self-service fresh teas. I had a few glasses of Hibiscus tea and it is delicious. Someburros is the spot for the best Mexican food!

My wife and I have been very excited to try this place since we found out they were building it a few months ago. After realizing it’s been open for about a week, we went with our boys. Here’s what we thought about this place after our first experience. I really liked what I got, the Pollo fundido, even though the rice tasted under seasoned. My wife said her green chili beef burrito was good but not great. We got our boys two bean and cheese burritos and they seemed to really enjoy them. We also ordered 3 rolled taquitos with guac and they kind of tasted like the ones you buy in the frozen food section at Walmart. They have coke products, a few aqua frescas, and teas but the aqua frescas tasted a little watered down but still good. They have a pretty good variety of things on their menu as well. Overall it was good for a fast food place. Will be going back to try different items on the menu.

My daughter and I stopped by tonight, we both ordered the green chili burros, fundido style. So yummy. We also tried a cheese enchilada, very good as well. Chips and hot sauce were good. We also liked the variety of drinks offered, my favorite was the hibiscus tea and my daughter enjoyed the strawberry guava lemonade and the peach tea. We’ll definitely be back. Great atmosphere and super clean restaurant.

This location is still new. Their cooks still need a little more experience. Perhaps they should have them take notes from the cooks at Poncho’s for a couple days. The hot sauce was not up to par on my last visit, but it could have just been a one-time thing. Overall, it is a nice place to dine. Simple menu and amenities, but good quality.
