Not sure if it’s just this location or Popeyes as a whole- we did have a bad experience at the Popeyes in Clackamas Town Center recently too. This meal was not good. My first clue should have been my passenger saying the bag of food was smelling off and sickening all the way home. The sandwiches were good but the fries were sad, cold and thrown into the bag like an afterthought. The mashed potatoes were inedible as they tasted like green salsa and there was something green in them (I’m told this was not how they are supposed to taste). And the macaroni and cheese seemed to have been the dregs of what was there for a while, it had a solid crusty lump of Mac n cheese in there. Not sure if we pissed of the drive through people or what but I do not recommend. The other chicken sandwich place is a better option.

If I could give zero stars I would. Poor service. Got my order wrong. When I took to the counter I was told I had ordered incorrectly(I hadn’t) and the gentleman behind the counter very hostile said I got MORE than what I had ordered and should be fine with it. Issue is that I don’t eat chicken and don’t want it touching my food at all. When he said “get rid of it then!” (What?) I wordlessly placed the chicken on the counter. He then picked up the chicken and mad dog stared me all the way to the garbage can creating an uncomfortable environment for everyone waiting for their food. Plus the food was cold and tough. Not like any Popeyes that I have been to. Will never return. You need to train your workers better. Awful experience. Never coming back.

Ordered delivery for my grandkids and myself after a long afternoon at the pool. We were all tired and starving. Food came very fast, which was great and quality of food was food. However, we didn’t receive my fries, no dipping sauces, no utensils. When I tried to call (3xs) nobody ever answered. I spent almost $60 for a dinner that I didn’t get to enjoy fully with no resolution. This is why I generally go to the other chicken filet place. They have never screwed up my order and customer service is on point.

So went there to pick up an online order was told it would be a few minutes sat out waiting for 15 minutes, went to call the store and they finally came out. Gave me the wrong sauce, threw everything in one box. Though I’d sat there waiting for what I thought would be fresh it was cold and hard, very unpleasant experience. I’ve had a few bad ones here but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. They didn’t even offer an extra side or anything for the much too long wait time. This was a disappointing enough experience to ensure I will never be back and if anyone ever ask me about this place I will warn them to stay away have had better experiences at the food court one and usually food courts are the worst places to get food.

My wife stopped by to pick up Dinner, one three piece and one two piece combo’s. I found my Spicy chicken had tons of coating, the chicken looked and tasted very old and over cooked. The meat was very dry I threw out most of the chicken, very little chicken on the bone. The Ice Tea was very weak, no flavor. Looks like a new owner to this fast food restaurant, it looks like a lot of cutting back on products to cut back on his overhead expenses. And Dammed Quality of the product. , it’s been a while since we’ve been back to this Poppeyes Oakgrove in Milwaukie Oregon. The last owners Quality of food was hit and miss at best, but tonight’s meal was absolutely without question Garbage !. Like it was pulled out from the dumpsters. We in in the local area, some day in about 5 years, we might try this Popeyes again. My wife questioned the counter person about the chicken in a basket that was looked dried up. The owner stepped in back of the counter person as she tried to answer my wife s question. She looked very nervous. It looked like the New owner was about to raise a fit, if my wife was to check out what she had just bought. She would have asked for her money back. But we didn’t find anything wrong intil she got home. Do your self a favor, don’t buy food from this Popeyes on Mclaughlin in the Oakgrove area. Buyer Beware. P.S. Even my cat and Dog wouldn’t touch the chicken. Even my wife’s chicken that wasn’t spicy. Also my side was the spicy frys, the side order was so small it was about half a cup or less. And TONS OF GREASE, so much I could change the oil in my truck with it. Like I said. NEVER AGAIN. I was really forward to a good meal . . What a Waste of money

I hate to be a Karen but yeah the chicken was rough. It was extremely dry, chewy, and stringy. I’m not blaming the workers. Popeyes needs to stop cutting corners on training, wages, and quality to make more money. Your food sucks here and the owner is to blame.

Fries were cold and gummy, chicken strips were cold and gummy. I usually love popeyes but this location particularly seems to have never been able to get it right since they opened. And I was so happy when they opened, but I have been disappointed multiple times now.
