The staff were very nice and the food didn’t take too long to come out. The food tasted good and didn’t cost a lot. They had two tvs on the wall to watch, The tables were clean. The only bad things I have to say are that the chairs were ripped around the edges, and my food wasn’t very warm. I do recommend if you’re in the area and want something not too expensive.

This little restaurant is 100% southern soul. We were looking for somewhere to eat on the road, and decided to give this place a shot, and boy did it exceed expectations! We were greeted and seated immediately, and our server was super professional, friendly, and efficient. The locals were also friendly and struck up conversations with us about our travels. The food itself was affordable, filling, and very tasty. I definitely recommend the fried pickles! The food does take a little while, but that’s expected and welcomed as it is all made to order. I definitely recommend!

This was my 1st visit to Virginia Heights Restaurant. Was traveling and stopped in Wytheville VA to eat. Found this restaurant on Google maps. It was between Lunch and Dinner time so only about 6 others there eating. The lady waiting on tables was very friendly and helpful. The sweet tea was great. They serve home cooking and have a nice menu with many choices available. I got the pork chops (2) dinner which came with two vegetables I got mashed potatoes and collard greens and biscuit and tea for $8.95. My friend got chop steak which comes with two vegetables. Got tater tots and buttercorn and roll and tea for $8.95. The food took a while to cook was there just over 1 hour in time but was worth the wait.

Very good, home cooking. Loved the sweet tea. Reminds me of a small town jewel that only the locals know about. Glad we found this restaurant.

Cute and unassuming with great food at fair prices. Be prepared to pay cash but the food is worth it. Excellent biscuits! And lots of cinnamon on the French toast.

I had the Big double bacon cheese burger it was excellent! My two grandsons had different versions of the bacon cheeseburger and they agreed it was the best they have had. The prices were also very agreeable. My wife loved her dinner as well. This place should be very busy as it is one of the best dinners we have had in Wytheville.

Some of the best homemade breakfast I’ve had in awhile! The brown gravy was amazing and the sweet tea doesn’t get any better. Great place to stop for breakfast will definitely be going back!

We came here for breakfast, and we were not disappointed! It was peaceful and clean, decorated very nicely, and the food was wonderful! The coffee was so good, and our server was very polite, always ready to attend. I got a blueberry hotcake, and it was the best I have ever had. We’re not local, but if we ever pass back through, we’re coming back here for sure!

Food was ok, service was ok, Not a terrible place to get a quick, cheap bite to eat.
