Spacious place, easy parking, clean restroom, nice staff. Food tasty great with big portion. Beef was a bit tough but fish was on point. Music was loud but it was on us in choosing the table.

Located off the County road, this restaurant has ample dining space with tables and chairs, no booth seating; very clean with some decorations; staff is friendly with quick service time. The menu has a nice variety of selections. The corn tortillas taste home-made and the salsa has a kick of heat to it. We had the Caldo de Res, Menudo, and the Huarache con Lengua. Soups came with a small condiment dish filled with onions, cilantro, dried red chilies. All were delicious. Will return with more people to try their Parrillada.

Finally gave this place a try last night but unfortunately it fell short. My wife ordered tacos and I ordered Aguachiles and Ceviche. The tacos looked good but the tortillas got hard really quick as they were kinda toasted and needed oil to soften them up. The lengua was just weird. It looked raw in some pieces and just not appetizing. The Aguachiles had fully cooked shrimp, never seen it that way and I have eaten this dish plenty in my life. Just can’t get over the cooked shrimp, it’s just wrong and not the way Aguachiles should be prepared though the sauce was good but for $20 there should not be cooked shrimp. The Ceviche had shrimp and octopus but the octopus was so hard and undercooked that no matter how hard I tried it was not edible. The highlight was definitely our server though I didn’t get his name. The young kid was very polite, very fast and I could not ask for a better server. Wish I got his name but young kid in the ball cap, you rock hommie! Hate to leave bad reviews but this is an honest one and hopefully they get better soon because they have big competition here in Burnsville/ Savage area.

This was as bad as it gets for going out to eat. It took 24 minutes from the time we sat down for someone to come our way to bring menus and waters. It took 45 minutes from the time we ordered for the food to come (understandable, considering it was busy for Cinco De Mayo) only for the food to come out lukewarm at best, bordering on cold. We never saw a waitress again after the food arrived and I had to go to the hostess station to get our check, only to learn our waitress had left the building. Ultimately a 2-hour trip for cold food and horrendous service. Food has potential, but based on this experience we will not be returning.

Carne asada and chili relleano dinners were very tasty and everything tasted very fresh. Service was a bit slow, the atmosphere and decor very basic, no booths and just tables but couldn’t shake the feeling that we were truly back in an old Mexico restaurant from our days of living in a Rio Grande Valley

The music was blasting when we walked in and two different songs playing. Salsa was pretty good. Definitely vellveta cheese. It was ok. Probably not a repeater. Fair pricing though.

This place is fantastic! Their homemade corn tortillas and salsas are incredible as are the main dishes. Staff is super friendly too. I would highly recommend.
