Jalisco Mexican Grill started on August 2020 during the Covid-19 Pandemic. We, at Jalisco Mexican Grill think that through rough times, is when the best challenges are to be overcome.
Taking all the precautions and with the experience we have, we thought it was a good idea to start a business. We were sure, we would succeed because we are in a town with amazing people and amazing neighbors.

Very good, not quite the true Mexican but a decent substitute for Helena. Great service and a full bar so not just stuck with beer. They bring chips and salsa when you sit down and will refill if you ask.

You can’t expect much for Mexican food in Helena. The salsa was sub par. I think our waitress was new, but she forgot to put one of the meals in so one of the members of our party had to wait extra for them to start it. Simple mistake that they owned up to. Very nice and friendly staff that were courteous to our little. I had the four tacos, which were very bland. But my wife had the steak quesadilla which tasted great. The other two in our party were happy with their burritos. Will probably eat here again but isn’t a hidden gem.

We had supported this business from the day the opened, through ups and downs, sometimes great food and great service and sometimes absolutely horrible, we stuck it out to support them. But to walk in at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday and have my family turned away when there are still 5 seated tables eating and minors sitting at the bar blows my mind… enjoy the last dollar you will ever see from me. Helena is a very small town and these actions will catch up with you very quickly.

Truly, the best. I’ve never been disappointed. Take out is always super fast. The one time we dined in my son spilled water and the server was quick to help and didn’t act annoyed at all. Will continue to go because literally everything we order is amazing, and the staff seems so easy to work with and accommodating. Thank you!!!

I have been looking for decent Mexican food all over Helena and Great Falls. This has been perhaps the least decent place I’ve eaten at. I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito, a small queso, and three carnitas. The carne asada burrito was average at best. The tacos were dry, stale, and had no flavor at all.

This was the worst and most tasteless unauthentic Mexican I’ve ever had in my life. It took 30 minutes to even have the waitress acknowledge us to take our order only after asking another waitress to help. The waitress was rude and argumentative when she messed up the order. We couldn’t even get served at the same time. V-8 juice has more flavor than the salsa with chips did. The chicken in the enchiladas was dry and tasteless as well as the enchilada sauce, rice and beans. Salt didn’t help add flavor which we had to ask for because there was nothing on the table. We will not be returning. A very disappointing first and last visit. If you want more authentic Mexican than this restaurant go to Taco John’s.
