I placed an online order that was not ready at the scheduled time for pick up, I ended waiting 20 minutes before it was ready. Luckily I checked my bags because several things were wrong; they gave me a pulled pork tropichop instead of the vegetarian tropichop which I ordered. They gave me yellow rice instead of white and my side of corn was missing. They gave me regular fries instead of wedge fries that I ordered which I didn’t even bother to ask for after I was treated like I was the one who did something wrong. My yuca and fries were burnt like they fried potato skins to serve.I just tossed them in the trash. Rude meal preps… the cashier however was very nice. Definitely never going back here.

So normally, this is a place where you order chicken and rice and get a side dish of sadness and disappointment. However, in my last visit, when I ordered a meal for 10 and no one seemed to know this was on the menu, the manager came out and knew exactly what we wanted and told the staff how to put it together and then he supervised it himself, making sure we had serving utensils and bowls and plenty of salsa, etc. – it was, for the very first time in a long time, a very positive experience. I’d like to think it will happen with normal ordering next time, but – I’d be lying if I said I expect it.

Polo tropical has really good food for a fast food restaurant. Quality and choices are quite nice. The only problem with the place is that they sometimes make minor mistakes with your order so you may end up with something slightly different than what you ordered.

This place keeps going downhill everytime we get food from here. If it’s not raw, then it’s overcooked or burnt chicken. They get the order wrong and you have to go back and complain. Check your food before you leave the drive thru. This restaraunt is one of the worst for missing or giving you bad food! Last time we order from there! Unreal!

What kind of trash does PT hire? I believe her name is Sabeyana employee # 455000. She would not say if she was manager. But her shirt was a different color from the other workers. She is nasty and slow. Threatened to jump over the counter at me after I had the nerve to ask for my order. I had been waiting 15 minutes and I was the only person on line. She also said she would refund my order and give me nothing. Where is the accountability in this franchise? The front door says executive GM. Yacenia Mayo?
